    actually there's 4 types of euthanasia.

    active = with patient's consent.
    passive = relatives or other than the patient.

    Patients have the right to refuse or stop treatment. the problems with euthanasia are the justification that the patient is able to make a sound judgement and decision and if the family members who agreed with euthanasia is also sane.
    Eventually terminally ill patients die soon but cutting his life span or fast forwarding his death is considered lawfully as murder. If by patient's choice then it's suicide.

    So her immediate family decided nga dili na tagaan og tambal. Then she die after an hour.

    My auntie requested to die and to rest, and her family granted what she ask.

    This is just a very good example for Euthanasia. Not by force, but by will.

    this mentality is too shallow.lol

    for you it's just nothing, somewhat, somehow things have it's purpose and consequences. small rules can prevent big things from happening

    allowing to die is different from mercy killing.

    sayop ko, lol

    voluntary = patient consent
    involuntary = other than the patient. against the patient.
    non-voluntary = patient unconscious or cant make the decision

    passive = stopping medication to stop or not continue treatment. eventually the patient will die. @redhorse allowing to die is considered passive euthanasia.

    active= give lethal drugs to kill patient immediately.

    I'm a pure catholic, but their are instances that I would go for legalizing euthanasia, given that all circumstances are studied first before doing this act. If theirs no more possibility way for a person to live why pro-long his agony. This person might still be able to help donating retina or organs. My bad, but that's just how it should be.
