    it's illegal because basically

    EUTHANASIA IS CONGRUENT TO MURDER

no matter how you change the name, no matter how you add the word mercy in it, it is still killing

and based on the philippine constitution, there is no right to die under article 3 or the bill of rights!

are you even thinking? tan.awa ra gud nang imung thread title o! right to die?

    serious ka?

define murder,do you even know the difference between euthanasia and murder?

    mur·der/ˈmərdər/
Noun: The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another.

euthanasia=a deliberate intervention undertaken with the express intention of ending a life, to relieve intractable suffering"

in murder there's no consent from the victim while in euthanasia, there is a consent made by the patient. get the picture?

kadakong deperensya anang GIPATAY SA NAGPAKAMATAY

Euthanasia does take place and is selected voluntarily by

patients who are in great pain due to an incurable illness like cancer. Usually,

the decision is made to pull the plugs of machines which prolong life or to end

treatment. Because patients select to die, their deaths end suffering, and

there is no intention to cause harm, physician assisted euthanasia cannot be

    considered murder.

Murder can be defined as an act of violence which is perpetrated against a

victim. For example, a man stuffed into a car after being shot five times is a

murder victim. The individual dies at a time which is forced by the killer who

has intent to harm him or her.

    get the picture?

IM SUPPORTING creating a new constitutional right. THE RIGHT TO DIE.

but this right should be contemplated already by every person when he reaches age 25-30, then he shall put into writings his wishes should the need of eutanasia comes..

dili dapat ang family member mo pili, dapat ang person nka pili na daan..

ako, if i have to, i'll grab this..

agree ko ni sir i think this is what they do in switzerland. the patient will sign a waiver to hereby acknowledge his/her wishes to die to be granted. pero dapat gyud magsabot ang patient ug ang family pod para walay gubot pero at the end of the day, kung unsa tong gusto sa pasyente, mao gyud toy masunod.

It is a form of suicide to the patient but basically it is still killing someone.

I would agree with this if all forms and resources have been used and stressed out and if it's the end of the line and only suffering from pain and no other things can alleviate or minimize it.

    JUSTIFY THIS.
Why should we continue life if it's just full of misery from pain and you will still be dead months or weeks from now ANYWAY?
