I'm still hoping that the Philippines will be better soon. We Filipinos are Great. We just have to focus on our Strengths and the Positive. And try to change what is Negative. All of this can be achieved if we start from ourselves. Exactly why I think the mods should remove the post count system altogether and replace it with a reputation system. That way, it's not the post count that will matter - its making the posts count.

It's not that I can't accept. It's that I refuse to accept it.

The difference is, that I believe the Filipino people is not all that the hyped media is painting us to be. We as a people have more good traits than we have bad ones. So, why are we focusing on the small things?

That I refuse to accept all this pessimism and negative criticism aimed at my country just because we are now neck-deep in shit brought about by a handful of stupid politicians who we can't even kill because we are, first and foremost, a peaceful and God-loving people, and that we believe in equality and justice.

That I still believe we can bounce back if good men will step up and run for office, and take care of our country.

Well, here's what I think about your post.

You see all these things in your barrio and you obviously have a vision of what the way things should be around there.

Why don't you do something to help out? What can you do to help out? Who can you talk to around there to help make things move along? Do you have friends who are willing to help out, too?
