no Pentium D can surpass the x2 4800+ which is very powerful in its time
AnandTech - Bench - CPU
and yet it's nowhere near the e5300
how much more will the D830 fare against the e5300?

e5300 = seriously more efficient, cooler, faster

e5300 because pentium D is the 1st dual core design but sad to say it has a overheat issue. that is why after a few months they release the E Series of Dualcore. and called it Intel Dual Core...
