kaw do u use your computer 24/7 @ 100% load?using 600watts psu? im sure not....

jay52969 is running it on 600w which is 100w than what am running right now. So I think its safer if I invest on a better PSU first then go get the 6970. I don't want to risk anything, di baya lalim paayo nya wa pa sad ko kasulay pa RMA og component and I don't want to start now.

much better if naay at least 20% extra wattage allowance ang imong PSU para dili ma stress imong PSU. if stress gani imong PSU kanunay, it will shorten the lifespan of the components inside & the PSU itself. how do you know if stress or almost full load na imong PSU? hikapa siya, if init gani kaayo then mao na indication nga loaded na imong PSU. Besides, ang efficiency sa PSU will be at its best if 40-60% load siya, above 60%, mo slowly decrease pod iyang efficiency..

i dont believe that this card is power hungry..im basing this on my experience and daily use with the card...

Wala koy gi comparahan nga card sa 6970 so morag obvious na kaayo akong pasabot sa power hungry compared sa 5770, mas dako ug power requirements ang 6970.

Ni recommend ko ug 650watts para naai headroom, hinaot unta kasabot unsay pasabot anag headroom, wala ni igon go for 650watts absolute minimum.
