Really coz im newbie in terms of planting a seeds. actually mas hilig jud nako ang mga palms, pero gusto sad nako nga naa koy mga basil nga plants.

Kanang imong big thai basils naa nasa mga big pot? Also ur purple basil?

If u visit, ill teach you how to sow seeds and ill give u a nutrient mixture to encourage germination. It might not germinate ALL the seeds, but at least most of them will germinate. I use the same method on my other seedlings for other plants and i get an 80-95% success rate most of the times.

I have all my basils in plastic medium pots. i dont usually put them into big garden clay pots coz my buyers tend to have their own pots at home, nya ila ra i-transfer. But if ud like pot, i could put it into one if u want. Just an increase of php20.

i use vermicompost mixed with horse manure so the plants are really fat. haha.

Vermicompost is the poo of worms that have eaten compost (rotten leaves/vegies/animal manure). It is said to be more effective than compost. based on my experience, it's really good for the plants. u dont even need to mix it in soil. just plant it in right away

i just called my friend from manila and he got a cheaper deal with sunflowers , and not the crazy php12/per seed one.


there are 3 variaties:

1) Sunbright Kids dwarf - php5 per seed
2) Sunbright ornamental type - php5 per seed
3) Sunflower Double Sungold - php3 per seed
4) Evening Sunbrown - php3 per seed

I don't personally know the difference between the sizes of the flowers, but if u search in the net, they all look different, since theyre different varieties under the sun flower family. The last sunflower batch i tried growing was the "evening sunbrown" , and it's a little small. Like the size of your hand or palm.

I will be ordering more seeds tomorow morning and should arrive by friday or saturday. I need a new packet of cherry tomatoes, wansoy and other flowers anyways. i could include your order if u want to order seeds as well.

Alright, ill put it in the order. what's ur number? I'll confirm first with my friend is that many seeds is available. BJpunk is also ordering along, and he/she will be come to the garden in talisay on saturday to pick up the seeds.

this is actually my first try at gardening. Got interested with sunflowers in particular coz i want to achieve a 'country garden' feel at my mom's mausoleum. fingers crossed!

too bad they ran out of seeds.. My aunt found me a supplier for seeds. I'm not sure of the names of the sunflowers though but i saw the blooms and they looked nice. The black seeds will have big single flowers (P2.00 each) and the white seeds will have small multiple flowers (P1.50each). Just tell me if you want to include your orders

OOHHH!! count me in! Much beter than shipping from manila . gahh! and not to mention their prices are sooo high!

I'd like to get 50 seeds of each type of seed. wooh!
