A common theme with abusers is that they try to instill fear into their victims along with feelings of inadequacy. They want a person (or people) to feel helpless and completely dependent on them. You can observe this behavior in the cases of battered wives who stay with their violent husbands for years despite regular black eyes and broken ribs. It was not chains keeping them there, but a lack of confidence in themselves and fear of retribution from their abuser.

kahibaw baka nga gi saaran ug commission ang sheriff inig mahuman niya ang demolition?

kahibaw baka nga duna nay kasabutan si mayor ug si sheriff nga magpaabot ug 2 hours unya gisupak sa sheriff?

The peaceful resolution is to OBEY the rulings of the court as that is their rightful place in society to be obeyed not disrespected and not have their orders disregarded by a mere public official. Unsa may more peaceful resolution, just giving criminals what they want. If you take away the power of the sheriff to enforce court orders, you are making the courts inutile.. ganahan mo ana? Is that what you call peace and order? Do you live in twilight zone? Kai to normal people, if courts can't enforce their decisions or the rule of law that is anarchy, not peace and order.
Simple logic coming stemming from ignorance I gather. Justice and the legal system is not so easily explained but what do you know right? There is no point in arguing with you about the law... it would only make you look bad.

Is the mayor's offer, a person in authority, not a valid offer to a resolution to the conflict? What is the mayor's mandate? Which takes precedence, a peaceful resolution and the safety of the people or the execution of the judicial order? I suppose you have a copy of the order with you eh?

ang sa akoa lang, i think "jaded" naman gud kaayo ning mga cebuanos... they constantly see crimes in their city that they became accustomed to it na. holdup dire, holdup didto... as long as dili sila ang victim, they treat it as baliwala lang or they treat it as the norm na...

while here in davao, we already were fed up with all the killings and crime pre-duterte era, so we would do everything to retain the peace and security we have now... even bend some laws just to eradicate the bad apples from our city.

so cebuanos, let us davaoenos be... hapsay man among kinabuhi... try solving your city's problems first before looking at our city, syaro walay problema dinha sa inyong lungsod?

another example nga wala gi gamitan ug common sense, wives who are getting regular black eyes or permi gi daog2 sa bana vs mayor standing up what she think is right and to protect not just the poor but also the officers who were sent there.

come on stop giving out examples nga lagyo ra, ngano imo mana i compare ang wife nga gi batter sa bana ug sa gbuhat sa mayor? ang mayor iya gi huna2 is ang wellfare sa tanan taw nga ni ad2 not just the poor but apil sa mga officers.

the reason ngano duterte japon ang nagdala sa davao because they believe sakto ang method gi gamit sa ila leader, kay if na feel nila nga gi abuse sila then nag rally na unta na sila para mapahawa ang ila mayor. pero ngano mas gi respeto man hinuon sila? and tanan taw did2 malipayon sa ila safety.

the more you give out examples nga dili tugma the more ka nahimog kataw-anan @____@ first maid karon napud wife. your examples are for the sake nlng but the weight of it is not even close to what has happened. @_____@ sus nlng. i thought you know what you are talking but i guess you are just an average person only looking at 1side
