we are all good in nature, we sometimes do bad things, that doesn't make us evil

also, some bad habits makes us feel good, like drinking or smoking or just trolling around

what i'm saying is, we are basically good because we like the good feeling, even though some see it as evil

Are there really good and evil person or are we both of? It is most likely relative, depending upon the situation. There was even a time when our religious leaders advised to obliterate infidels who do not believe in their gods. Good and evil are within us, only love comes in between…my creed

we are capable of both but we were born innocent from knowing what is right from wrong... so we are neither

Lets say, a hungry man stole a food. is he bad or good? by the definition above, he is just following his innate nature, then he is still good.

The presumption, sans all the interference, human being will develop his very goodness to its full potential.
How can you say Good or Bad if you are Not bounded by any Guidelines of Morality? If you don't have any universal basis of morality then you cannot say Stealing is Good or Bad - Its Just stealing that's all.

The topic is Not clear and is self defeating.
There's No Good or Bad by nature, God created us and Give us TOTAL freedom but he also give us guidelines of absolute Morality for us to follow or Not. So If we accept that there is God and therefore there is an absolute morality as guide then that's the Only time we can say someone is Good or Bad.

That example was contextualized with in the bounds of the innate nature of human being which is to survive at all cost. That is why, i have mentioned in the next responses that i have made that the basic goodness i was talking about is in its purest form wherein it is not bounded by morality.

when morality comes in, the discussion becomes more complicated. Won't we all agree that our most primitive need is to survive, as explained by the natural selection process and as explained by the "bible" itself, hence, isn't it just and reasonable to say, that that basic goodness is in purest form when it is not bounded by any norms?
