Comment lang ko ani ha, I wanted to keep my mouth shut on this issue but I think I should speak up. Not to brag about it but Ramonito is a relative of mine, mogawas nga auntie nako si Mayor Sarah. And I know how the family members are disciplined and brought up. I remember nga adto ko pa puy-on sa akong mom sa ilang Ramonito sa Davao para mag tarong daw ko ug skwela (paningot ko ug popcorn ato kay ive heard disciplenarian gyud daw na siya). Though we are not as close, our clan has respected them in various levels. They are not perfect, they are human beings and are prone to make mistakes as well. I cannot blame Mayor Sarah for her actions. Though I can say that doing such act makes her vulnerable to cruel criticism from people who do not even understand the Duterte's and Davao City.

A lot of candidates tried to replace them in position, but wala gyud naka daug kay kahibaw ang mga taga Davao nga si Ramon Duterte ra ang maka pa hapsay sa ilang cuidad. On and off nako sa davao I know the BIG difference in terms of the peace and order situation. Ang mga snatcher, holdaper, kidnapper, gangs, drug lords mahadlok magkalat didto. If you talk about Mindanao, Davao always stands out as the key city, mas ilado pa man gani ang Davao City compared to Cagayan de oro. And in other countries, davao is considered as safer than other cities in Mindanao.

Ok going back sa issue with Sarah Duterte. Na focus ang attention anhi ni Mayor Sara. kay ngano tungod kay nanumbag siya? I-rewind daw nato ang incident and lets try to understand what caused her to do such act. She requested for a two hour extension sa Sheriff para ma hapsay ang evacuation sa mga informal settlers. What that means is she is avoiding further trouble, bisag asa pa sa pilipinas molaban man gyud ang mga taga squatters kay di mo pahawa or na harrass sa mga demolition team?

Now si Sheriff, true that it is his job to make sure the courts mandate is implemented. But that does not give him the excuse to harshly refuse such request for the sake of just saying NO! Unsa may mawala sa Sheriff ug sa korte kung mo hatag sila ug 2 hours nga extension para ma hapsay lang ang tanan? Would it make any difference if they waited for two hours? If the Sheriff insisted on the demolition, would the informal settlers take it lightly? What do you think is the result if it was brutally enforced?

We must have failed to understand that in this situation, we need to look at what is for the greater good. It's not like the mayor refused the Sheriff to do the demolition, she simply asked for an extension to make things smoother for EVERYONE. And since gahi man sad ug ulo (or should I say insensitive) si Sheriff, then it resulted to him getting punches and humiliation from the mayor.

Yes nasayop si Mayor kay she lost her temper, but that doesn't mean the Sheriff is not human enough not to understand the situation. And not see what could have happened if he insisted.

why did someone got hurt when she did not clean your house?

the sheriff is so hard headed, a lot got hurt and someone almost died.

your way of comparison is way beyond what was shown.

media ray ga uto2 ninyo and besides she already asked for an apology for what she did and admitted her mistakes pud.

sometimes we need to learn how to stop putting oil sa flame to have a peaceful community. igo ramo gi dagkotan sa media ug kamo sad sakay rapud mo. look at the brighter side walay namatay because the mayor took over and showed authority over someone else's retardedness @___@

if mo compare naman lang gani ka make sure the same weight ang example, asa gud tawon ka ana maid manlimpyo sa house vs sheriff nga ni supak nya daghan nasakitan + hapit pa mamatay. sometimes common sense would be very useful in times like this. dili ra hatag lang ug example kay para lang ingnon. hehehe.

if di pud magpa astig mga sheriff walay ma demolish na mga squatters.... sheriff should have an enforcing nature to carry over courts decision,,,. pro in that case maka ingon pud ta na harsh ra pud ang sheriff not to wait for two hours,,, pro makaluluuy ra gihapon sya,,, try to put your self in his position,,, the sheriff just wants his job to be done,,, sorry for him na naa sya ana na job,,,, maypa naninda nalng sya ug balot,,, hehehe... a punch in the face,,,, pila kaha sweldo anang mga sheriff noh? delikado man kaayo na ilang trabaho... the govt should ensure their safety oi,,, dili lalim na na trabaho....

we seem to find it soo easy to just say whatever we want to say...but if we are in that situation can we guarantee ourselves to act the same way as we said?

i dont think nagpasikat si mayor kay tungod naay media. im sure everyday mayor sarah is monitored by the media given nga mayor siya. unya inig terminate kang sarah kinsa man nga maayong laki inyong ibutang para mo puli?
