What’s the best solution to a shitty photo? Vignette that bitch. Camera technology has strived to eliminate the in-camera vignette, and you know how photographers have responded? They fought back. Fear the vengeance of the vignette.

If you can’t afford a full-frame camera, don’t worry about it. Just throw it into Photoshop and slap on a vignette on your own. Just remember to be subtle. There’s nothing more embarrassing than being called out for a fake vignette. You can burn the edges, or you can be a real pro and use the lens correction filter. Is -70 too much vignette? No, maybe you can bump that to -90 and see how it looks. Then triple that. Some prefer the scribble and feather method, but we won’t talk about them.
God knows throwing a vignette on a photo just gets you one step closer to winning some kind of bullshit award. And that’s what it’s all about right? #Wignetting
