Knowing those kinds of things make me realize that science is limited
again, i think i have to say this again, science fro me is just a tool.
Of course it is limited, because some of the questions you ask are still in the process of being investigated or figured out. Once upon a time we also didn't know if polio could be cured, or if sickness was caused by "bad spirits", but eventually those questions got answered. Again, time will tell.

However the issue here is again your "comfort" in accepting the limitations. If you are uncomfortable that science, for now cannot give answers to your questions, then it would make me happy and content if you just admit you don't want to wait for the answers or that you are impatient with science, and that religion is the solution to that impatience, because you can just automatically say that religion is unlimited (thus solving the problem).

I'm not impatient--that's why I do not need religion.

Yes, science is just a tool, that I use daily like any other tool. I don't need anything else in my life to live--just give me the tools for survival and I'll live.

uhuh that was what i was thinking
sadly, that us just part of everything
    as you can see
    science alone can't help me
especially when it comes to inner strength
it can't help me cope up
my religion is one of the best motivation i have ever known

we always base ourselves to what we can see but i would like to good deeper with my interactions with people
i would like to understand each of them

let's just say i need science and i need my religion as well
rationalization is not as effective compared to faith

    seeing good people
interacting with those who are true, those who respect others, those who believe in God, and praying are the ones who have made me such a believer

yes, we can't see Him, but i can feel him

you may call it whatever you want but this is like a journey for me

I may be curious with facts and i like to combine it with goodness and faith.

You may think of it as impossible

    but for me

    it is

    daghan man bright diri oi...

im not a catholic defender, im just being rational that we have to accept the fact that even if religion is man made, and even if God as defined by the bible is not true, whatever it is, we just have the need to have the feeling of having the definition of God so as to survive..

the process of having a god in our own system is self-preserving and indeed very selfish and primitive..

^^ no one can agree if there is a god or not. those who believe in him can't agree which of them is right. three overlapping battles on the front.

Kani akong reklamo sa inyo man gud.

Why insert the word SADLY in this conversation? I do not accept that because I am CONTENT with my situation--just by inserting that word you're trying to show the other readers in this thread nga mga "sad" people ang atheists like me.

    Please stop doing that.

defense mechanism man gud na bro. basta di ta motubay nila ingnan lang ka bitter daw or unsa pa na colorful words for us.

back in the day i would've been satisfied with "heathen" and "blasphemer". Karon hinanglan pa ug interpretation.

it's part of being a human, to be sad

and i never said you're a sad person, if i were to describe atheist kay mga intelligent people sila

happiness does not have to depend on anything
    it is a choice

one thing i'd really like to emphasize lang jud is this
i never regretted being born a christian
i may regret being born poor
or have sometimes wished to be someone known like an actress or a doctor perhaps or a CIA (more sa CIA hehehe)
but i don't blame it on God.
We were given a brain to think
so i have to use it

Personally, I don't mind if you don't go back to RC, but mas ok unta if ever... but even if you go to any Christian sect, that's okay for me, saying this not only for you but other misguided and confused persons out there. Peace bro!

Just in case you think (or some readers think) that Atheists blame certain things on a god, we don't, because we do not believe in a god.
