I think Atheists want to prove that people don't need to burden themselves by thinking that they have a cross to carry.

A person can live a perfectly moral and good life without relying on religion. In fact, most developed countries where religion plays a lesser role are examples of this.

Wrong Concept, the purpose of Atheist is to remove the Concept of an Absolute God and thus remove the concept of absolute Morality. Morality for Atheist belief is Relative on each individuals own thinking.

You said about 'can live a perfectly Moral life', my question to you is in the concept of Atheism on which morality is Relative, what is a perfect morality that we will follow? based on what guidelines?

that is really presumptuous of you knowing that you have never even experimented on a life without religion. Yes, there are people who are living a good life with out religion but has the human race ever experienced a life without one? as you said, it is because they were curious that religion was made. As you can see, man wants answers. They don't want answers like "I don't know."

I'm glad you cited the example of the dying man because that is most likely what caused man to invent religion.

In the end, our brains have developed so much that we feel special. But we also realize our mortality that eventually we will all die. So our feeling of self importance would naturally tell us that "this can't be it", or "there has to be something after this life" and hence the different beliefs were born. From the egyptians and their view on the afterlife to reincarnation and to going to a beautiful place after death.

Just because Man does not know the answers doesnt make the BS stories we make up any more correct.

Religion may make people feel better and prepare them for death but that would be akin to opium or morphine which deadens the senses and takes away the fear of the unknown.

As I've posted before, countries that rely less on religion are better off economically and have higher IQ's than countries that still place a lot of importance on religion.

Religion is supposed to make people do good things but of the 4% Atheist population, how come there are only 0.04% in the prison system? Aren't atheists supposed to be going around killing, raping people and commit other crimes?

so had your interpretation of the bible and we don't have the same interpretation cause we don't think the same. It's not just how you read the bible but on how you apply it. The main point of christianity is not what you read but what you do with what you read.

All you said here are merely your own theories and interpretations which Don't have any Physical or Scientific Proof. Just because you have your answer presented Doesn't make it Scientifically or Physically TRUE. Therefore what you said here are the same BS stories as the Theist stories you are arguing with.
