it is a fact na lahi lahi ang pagtoo sa isa ka religion. how do you perceive ba right and wrong? di ba usually sa kung unsa imo pagtoo sa pagdaku nimo?

say for example karun, athiest ug christian, so kinsa may sayop? unsaon man naku pagcorrect? ako ba sakto? yes ako, sa akong pagtoo, sayop ang athiest. pero sa atheist? ako ang sayop base sa iyang pagtoo. so pasabton naku siya agad sa akong pagtoo, ug pasabton ko niya agad sa akong pagtoo, do you think magkasinabot me? magkasinabot lang guro me if one of us will give up what we believe in.

is there a middle ground in believing and not believing in God?

common, don't be too literal, mamugno aka judgmental.

Oh God, my dear God, – you do not have to forgive me. I know what I am doing. I know where I am going. If, however, I am to meet with you after death, I hope you will be together with your friend and great associate – Satan. I would really like to meet you and Satan. I have a few suggestions for you both to consider. Like on how to be more creative or constructive rather than just continue
to be mutually insane and destructive especially
in this world of human beings.

To begin with, I’d like to suggest that you both need not forever be like two dumbstruck supernatural *****s still so eager, still so hungry, to win more silly souls for yourselves. Why are you in desperate need for more silly souls? Do you eat them?

Billions of silly souls are already in heaven and billions of silly souls are already in hell. Aren’t you both already sick and tired of silly souls here and silly souls there, and silly souls everywhere in your respective silly kingdoms?

As for me and my silly soul. I don’t need it. I don’t want it. You can have it. Really, my dear God, my dear Satan, I ask: – what’s the big deal about silly souls that you both have not ceased screwing around with each other since time immemorial? Have either of you have nothing else better to do? huh?

    Cheers! Godless

    now lemme move on,
you said so yourself that you believe there is no God and that as of now, you are still searching for the truth.. answers and results. And if you have found the answers let's say "now we know how the universe bagan!" so does it mean that in the end, what humanity wants (atheist) is to be perfect and that they have proven that humans are the best kind of creatures?

I did not say that I personally do not believe in God (not to be confused with the religious interpretation of God)

For me man himself tries to make models of his understanding of the world around him. This model has constantly been improved upon since the time we thought the world was flat, now tracing that beginning to the big bang.

Everytime a model is harder and harder to explain and runs contrary to observation, it loses its elegance and this simply means that this model is simply lacking or flawed.

Now, we are at the verge of the possibility of there being more than one universe... or a multiverse theory as quantum physics would call it. This would mean that our belief now that the big bang caused everything would be likened to the belief that the world is flat before.

And throughout this journey of discovery, it has been science that has been constantly changing and improving our understanding of the world around us.

for me, In the end, and to paraphrase a song from Aerosmith... Life is not so much the destination but the journey itself.

What I want to tell everyone is.....

We should live our lives regardless of whether God exists or not.
We should do good because it is the right thing to do.. not out of fear or the promise of reward in an afterlife.

If God really exists in the way religion is portraying it, he would much rather we spend our time living our lives, being good to each other than spending it in worship of him.

Hopefully, mas nakasabot na ka where I'm coming from.

    of course
    as what you sang

Life is not so much the destination but the journey itself.

let's just say i am more of the quantity rather than the quality,
for me, from where i am coming from and how i have understood my religion, my God never told me not to believe in science. He told me to follow His rules which are really good in a sense that this is what i need to become a better person. Science and religion has it's role. My life has extra room for both. My God as my guide and science as my tool. I don't know with you guys but i respect your belief. It's just that it still feels good when you know that someone above there is guiding you. I just hope that as we venture towards the future, we will also be able to manage the negative effects of both science and religion.

and let's get back to reality again kay nana puy mureact ug

Yes there is a middle ground in believing God.

First, you must accept the fact that naay daku chance masayop ta or sayop atung gituhuan karun, BE HUMBLE. Second, be OPEN MINDED ug paminaw sa unsay explanations auban unya sabta sad ilang side then compare that to what you believe karun. If para nimu sakto ang imuha, then try to explain to them unsay imu idea. IF dili sila maminaw then wala nakay labot ana basta ni explain naka - And if you believe in God then ITS BETWEEN THEM AND GOD Nah.

There's something in every atheist, itching to believe, and something in every believer, itching to doubt.

this sums it why there are always threads like this lol

theists, if naa mo ipropose, like friinstance, ipropose ninyo nga niexist ang God, you should follow the scientific method in defense of its existence. basically, it's too irrational to believe on something that hasn't proven by science, or wala niagi sa scientific method, like the idea of a supreme being.

geng, if we follow the scientific method then it's not religion but science hehehe sakto ba ko?

anyways i would like to say that if God did not exist they why would Isaac Newton, believed that gravity caused the planets to revolve about the Sun, and credited God with the design? nana nabay official answer ani? please correct me if i'm wrong ^^
