If naa ika-sulti ang moderator, to discuss and give thought sa discussion, nganu di man pwede?

Dude, nothing is impossible. I've seen several clone accounts here, and only a small number of them gets banned. My account is a clone, but only because I forgot my old account password and I requested help from the admins to no avail.

I wasn't implying that mods should create one. And certainly wasn't implying that's the right thing to do. Of course we should still follow the forum rules as much as possible. Nobody is exempted.

then let's make things simple. you talk it out with him. understand both people's thoughts and we're all cool.
if that's impossible then consult a higher authority. and maybe if your sentiments were addressed to the right person and in the right way then we would not have needed a thread like this

Well, maybe we need another name for it.
Like Forum police or something. Just to eliminate confusion.

Because if we use the word moderator.
The thing that comes to mind is that the moderator is neutral
and does not take any side of the discussion.
He is there to watch the debating members.
Make sure they follow the rules.
I myself has been targeted, harassed with infractions and even banned a few times.
and some of my threads are moved and kidnapped (vanished without a trace) so many times in the past.
Just because in some point I argued with the moderator on those threads.

Moderators should cool things down, not heat it up.
I react simply because I dont like being bullied by them.
That's just my opinion on this matter.

You guys are too hung up on trying to define what moderators are. Technically, if you want to call these moderators their iSTORYA rank, they are "Site Keepers". It doesn't matter what they are called ... they can be called Minions of Satan ... their jobs are still the same. Trying to define what "moderator" means in the dictionary and then defending yourself with that, then acting ignorant about what moderators actually do is an asinine excuse. If it were up to me, if you act up, you get an insta ban. If you ever crossed me, you get infractions. You don't even get the pleasure of arguing with me. You want fair? ... then argue with me and you will get fair. Don't mistake leniency with not being fair.

From now on, we will call moderators ... not moderators ... but whatever they choose to call themselves. I personally like Minions of Satan ... but they can use any term they want ... such as Angel of Death, Stalin's Hand, Warriors of Genghis Khan.

STOP TRYING TO MOLD MODERATORS TO WHAT YOU THINK THEY SHOULD BE. iSTORYA admins, moderators, senior moderators have defined what a moderator is. There is no debate within our circle on what our jobs are. Only users who run afoul of us seem to think our job description should be changed.

If you believe that we have no tools to find duplicate accounts and you guys can do what you want with them, you are sadly mistaken. We do not take much action because many cloned accounts do no harm. They only do the spotlight when they take noticeable harm to the community then we will take action. But if a person wants to waste their time on multiple accounts instead of gaining the trust of community members, then that is their time they have wasted, not ours.

Sir, I did not say you don't have the tools. I know you can trace old accounts tied to a username with just a few clicks. I know---I was an admin of a small visayan forum.

I was just reaffirming my point that if I were a mod, I would consider creating a separate regular account. I wasn't trying to be a smartass, telling moderators what they should do. It was my personal opinion only.
