Filipino movies just display an exaggerated reality; the whole cry-cry, then love-love, then die-die, then cry-cry again..

They don't have any originality. You can practically tell what's gonna happen after the first 10mins of the movie. It doesn't improve morals nor teach a lesson...

All you see are girls with make up sobbing over a hunky person.. or vise versa.

I wouldn't put the effort that "Filipino movies" suck, in general. Mainstream Filipino movies suck big time, but indie Filipino movies kick a**.

Filipino family values are always included but it shouldn't be that obvious. If you compare the culture and family values on foreign movies, it's quite hidden. These values are not the main topic of your movie so why focus on this?? Think directors think!
