I couldn't have said it better myself. Why aren't articles like these written more often?

The media, the church, the promotion of talentless celebrities. These are all factors why we are all in hardship and why is it we can't see that?

Here's another thought. Instead of criticizing the entire country, why not look outside your window and ask yourself what you can contribute to your immediate community?

Run for office. That will surely put all your angst into perspective.

i pay taxes. i will rely everything to the government. it's written in the constitution that the state has the responsibility to protect and serve the people. in exchange, we pay the taxes.

tan.awa na lang ang mga places sa mga squatter, or worse, adto sa manila and you'll see what the "basura" i'm referring to is about. and wait, were you outside last friday near colon? my golly!

it's baha everywhere! and the cause, the basura is clogging the canals which is supposed to be an exit for the water to prevent flooding! wa ka karealize ana?

In manila it is understandable to a certain extent. The land there is at sea level. even if you try to drain it, water won't go any lower.

In cebu this is unacceptable. mountainous island baya ang cebu. If magbaha, naa gyud problema ang drainage!
