Answers:

First Question: The "stupidity" of the Filipinos can be seen in general. Ever wondered why Erap still was able to garner second place during the last presidential elections? The filipino people has already ousted him. Filipinos even went out of the busy streets of EDSA to call for his resignation. A decade has passed, and Erap ran for a presidential post and surprisingly, on the second place! Does that mean the wrath is gone? After the plunder, corruption, not to mention the drinking sessions during his stay in the malacanang. How easy for the Filipino people to be forgetful! That gives me a shadow of the doubt if these Filipinos are really using their minds when choosing leaders? Choosing a womanizer, a drunkard, and now, choosing an incompetent former senator and congressman who wasn't able to legislate a single law.

There are answers to your statements sentence per sentence but that would be out of context to the issues being raised here . The issue being brought up here is your RACISM and DISCRIMINATORY REMARKS and the IRONY of it , you are part of this STUPIDITY . If its in general , then why limit yourself about POLITICS ? That is being specific and to point out your issues with ERAP , or course , the FILIPINOS who ousted him are in the millions who walked in EDSA are the ANTI ERAPS . But the very people in the millions also who voted for him during the elections are the PRO ERAPS . What does that tell you ? That the ANTI are also STUPID ?

Second Question: My point is, no matter what our people do, if the government wouldn't be able to run this country the way it should be, it would be useless! One of our obligations as the citizen of this country is to pay our taxes. Taxes are used to defray the expenses of the government. Those expenses are supposed to be allocated for education, health care, social services, as long as the filipino people will benefit out of it. But look, are the taxes we're paying headed to a right path! I knew it, it's headed towards the crocs!

Wrong , why dont you check out powerful nations and 1st world countries . Despite of their programs in urban poor living , free insurance and education , housing programs , etc ... why do you still see STREET BUMS , HOMELESS , DRUNKARDS , CRACK WHORES , GANGBANGERS ? Did the government made them like that ? You make a wild guess mi amor .

Third Question: My responsibility as a citizen? To pay the taxes and I guess that's enough. I'm leaving everything to the government.

anyway, i see the point of the article.. and it does make sense, to be honest.. same with juanamanga's thread before about Pacquiao pride.. try to look past the demeaning adjectives, and you'll see she actually has a point.. i just hope that next time, she could convey her thoughts in a not-so-degrading tone..

we ourselves dug the very hole in which we are so deeply buried.. and unta maka-realize pud ta nga it's time we put effort into getting ourselves out of that hole.. yes, we can be nationalistic, but sometimes it just comes out inappropriately, and we don't realize that misplaced nationalism casts an even darker shadow on our already bleak reputation..
