I can understand your frustration, but these are theyre personal opinions. We cannot stop them from expressing their hatred or negative thoughts towards our country.

I have observed MANY of my friends who do criticize the filipino race but the most you can do is defend to a limit. Freedom of expression and speech is almost absolute nowadays.

All we can do is improve our country so that perhaps in the nearer future, our reputation improves.

We, ourselves, know what we filipinos are capable of doing. So if what they say is true (in their perception), then let them be.

Actually, filipinos ARE known for being intelligent. I recall in my Highschool a few years ago, the top students were always Sri lankan, African, Chinese and Filipino. The filipino groups were also always full of the smart ones. haha

I think what really casts a bad image of our country internationally is the media. I mean, what is the channel that everyone around the globe can see of Philippines? TFC and GMA.

I remember when i was 15, i had a New Zealand classmate that told me in the morning. "i was shifting through the channels and i came across a show of immature adults screaming WOWOWEEEE"

Honestly, i was embarassed, but i knew that filipinos in general arent like that. It's the media that displays such an image of US to the international community. tsk tsk

Naa'y punto si TS. I agree with many of his/her observations. Pero di ko uyon anang pulong nga "stupid". Sabton sa niya ang kinabuhi ug panghunahuna sa tanang klaseng Pinoy aron siya makahimo ug saktong generalization.

Rational

humans are supposedly in the Rational level, because we have the capacity to be one...

but it's our choice and by chance nga dili jud ta kaabot anah, kai afterall being perfectly rational is only ideal and can be only achieved if we want to..

practically speaking, there are idiots because we chose to be one, conscious or not..

if only we can achieve that Rational state, then perfect na kaayo tah.. but still that's ideal, and not at all realistic for everybody... kai not everybody has an idea of what it is being one.. not even TS.. not even me..

nya kana sad silang teri hatcher for example, nicomment ra gani ug di siya ganahan ug mga doctors nga nigraduate ug med schools sa philippines, OA na kaayu ang mga pinoy nya nangayo na silag public apology. i mean, artista ra man na siya oi! she was just saying what's on the script. and, sakto man sad iyang gisulti. ngano? unsa man d.i tong video nga nikatag sa youtube nga gikabuangan ang bayot kay naay canister iyang lubot. gikabuangan sa mga doctor! mao na diha! gaya-ya ra ang mga nawong mangayog public apology, diay to kay sila ray nagbinuang! mga unprofessional! EVER WONDERED NGANONG WALA NA NIKUHA SI OBAMA UG MGA NURSES DIRI SA PHILIPPINES? who knows, it's not only because obama wants the labor force from their nation, but because of the reputation of the medical professionals in the philippines!
