its a matter of choice...we are free what to have... both are good..... both has a positive and negative aspect

For your Info
AMD is not just Faster its more versatilility in Multimedia and Gaming.
CPU Code Instructions Support: sup=supported, notsup=not supported

Athlon XP sup sup notsup sup sup sup
I have always been an AMD fan ever since the Athlon Thunderbird came out... upto now I still am. But my part-time job demands and Intel Pentium4 so I got myself one... for gaming AMD is still King... but for rendering my P4 offers more performance... not only that, HyperThreading has made multitasking very smooth...
* anyway, as I have always been saying... the best will always be the one that can serve your needs...
It depends what procs i'm comparing. In my 8+ years of using various PC configs, I've been contented and impressed (esp. AXP) by eitheir company at one point or another. No brand loyalty here... coz they both give me nothing for it.

before im using the old model 8088 AMD and 8088 Intel processor. same ra man sila. kay same ra ang design hangtud ron. nangopya man ang AMD sa Intel. AMD kay subcon lang sa INTEL before.
gawas lang sa 64bit sa AMD. mas OK jud ang AMD kay naka 64bit na sila.
correct me if im wrong.![]()
nangopya ang AMD sa Intel? :o
uh-oh i feel some heat.
this is the line --------- cross it. i dare you
@nutjugger...bay intel and AMD parted their partnership a long time ago and as what i've posted on another thread b4 it all started when Intel manufacture its own X86 processor with different pin config and sockets (PENTIUM line). Because of this AMD decided to make their own socket also with the K5 line..maybe u are ryt na nangopya ang AMD coz their proc architecture was based from X86 design(80286 - 80486) but thats just it..up until now AMD's proc design is more advance and proven to be more efficient than Intel....
Tsk tsk, when will people learn that just because AMD seems to be the popular choice for those "in the know" ... that they still cannot compete to Intel's level. AMD is and will be in the foreseable future playing catchup to Intel. There is more to the processor market than the consumer market ... servers, embedded, clusters, SMP, etc. The consumer market evolves from the enterprise market, there is no doubt about that. The speed increase touted by AMD or Intel today, can change as quickly as the Sun rises and sets. So no ... AMD has NOT proven their advance design or efficiency over that of Intel's. I'd take Intel technology over AMD everyday and twice on Sundays.
basta competition is goodif not for AMD, patuyang lang ug price ang Intel
i think i know diin mo anang myth nga dali mo init ang AMD it let my quite what Beor Said..
duda ko dira ni gikan kay i heard a lot of thier techs telling customers sauna nga ang AMD dali raman na mo init nya kusog mo hag. bati daw ug fan.. and after some research sa mga kaila nako nga naay mga AMD nga kusog mo hang which came from thier store.. i asked my friends if pwede ba nako e tang2x ilang HS , and i found out nga wla gi remove ang ka2ng morag protective film/plate/rubber or unsa bana nga naa sa likos sa heatsink.. which the main cause of overheating.. after ana i cleaned the HS and the CPU core and placed a generic Silicon paste.. and dli na mo hang ilang system for lonh hours of use..Originally Posted by BeoR
