ZEST Airline (engine problem) Scary

June 10, 2011 Flight from CEB-MLA 5:50pm

The capt announces inside the cabin to get ready for take-off, the take-off goes well when suddenly after 3 minutes the capt announces that they have a mechanical problem and we have to turn back and land to Mactan Airport. Inside the cabin it started to smoke. Gisugat dayun mi ug mga fire trucks when we landed safely.

We disembark from the plane then told us to wait for about an hour coz they said they will have another plane that will take us to manila. Some passengers nahadluk wala na mudayun and some passengers says they might ride the same airplane that was had a problem earlier who knows basin daw gi ayo ug dalidali coz according sa isa ka pasahero they just have few numbers of aircraft.

Hapit na mg 10pm when one of the Zest staff announcing that they will just refund the ticket and the terminal fee right away. Nagyawyaw tanan pasahero gyud. Pa refund nalang mi then go home and rebook a flight on the next day with another airline company. Di nako musakay ug Zest....

I wonder what will be your "line" if na-crash ang gisakyan sa TS...

Anyway, happens to ALL airlines even in an airbus a380.... Just luck nga mao rana nahitabo nimo TS....
