The Americans did little to help during the Battle of Britain. The Lend-Lease Agreement was signed into law in 1941. The 50 Destroyer grant to Britain in 1940 was during September when the British were already winning the Battle. Before 1940 what ever supplies the US gave to Britain was paid for in gold.

The Battle of Britain was important because it showed Germany's weakness in air and naval power and ushered in a more aggressive drive for technology.

The Battle of Britain happened after the fall of Dunkirk..do you think the Battle of Britain will happen if the Germans didn't finish off the BEF at Dunkirk?..or same ra ghapon ang effect whether the germans let go of the british forces sa dunkirk or wla.

I'm not an expert sa battle of britain..pero do you think that britain's winning has a lot to do with the arena?..kai duol sa britain?..perhaps nakatabang ug maayo ang radar system sa britain?..or pure supremacy in aircraft design and aerial manuevering?

Would the Luftwaffe still lose if it was fought closer to home? (german side)

I think the geography of the battle scene was to the benefit of the British. The Germans steamrolled all opposition they faced in land warfare wa jud daganan. The blitkrieg was too much for any land force to defend against. But against England di kaayo sila ingon ana ka mobile because for one hinanglan pa sila mulabang ug dagat.

Against the English they had to contend with going against the largest Navy in the world at that time. The battle of Dunkirk was also pivotal to the success of England in 1940 kay kasagaran sa veterans na ni defend was kadto mga na evacuate sa Dunkirk. The evacuation at Dunkirk was a morale booster for the British and morale plays a very important role in warfare. A veteran will always be worth more than a new soldier. Take for instance sa air to air combat. Some say labaw ang tech sa German war planes some say labaw ang sa UK pero what was obvious was the disparity in the skill of the pilots.

England also had a superior radar defense system and superior intelligence. But if England had been accessible via land I think ma blitkrieg ra gihapon sila.

nindot btaw ang infantry and armor manuevering sa germany...I've read somewhere that originally Hitler wanted UK as an ally and was very envious of UK's colony in asia...Hitler was very much anxious in emulating UK..and Russia as hitler perceived was germany's india...that's why he allowed the BEF to evacuate Dunkirk in the hopes that UK will come to it's senses and surrender or side with germany..

in my opinion..the fall of Dunkirk was the most crucial in all of germany's blunders second to operation barbarossa..if only he finished all units of the bef at dunkirk then i guess UK would probably be a walk in the park..and Operation Sealion would've had a certain degree of success..since the US wasn't very much involved in the war..then cguro Operation Barbarossa can go smoothly..and possibly the Russian front will be the only remaining front for the remainder of the war..if lucky jd ang axis..they can suffocate russia on 2 fronts the european and the eastern side via China. or the Axis could consolidate their forces in the middle east..Rommel's Afrika Korps and the Japanese forces after they have overrun much of India..

during the early days of Operation Barbarossa german land forces steamrolled russian defense..especially ang encirclement and pincer attacks sa germany..pero in the end they were also victimized by their own techniques and was even bested in the largest tank battle of wwii Battle at Kursk..
