im currently working karon in one of the call centres here sa sg for 6months na. just recently nangapply ko ug lain and naswertehan kay na interview ug nadawat...actually gahapon nag sign nko sa appointment letter sa new company, they are willing to wait for me for two months(mao man gd notice period sa current company nako karon if ever mu tender ug resignation)...now mao ni ako ikonsulta: niingon man gd ang HR sa new company gahapon (after nko mi sign sa appointment letter ug pass application form), nga karon daw mag submit nako ug resignation para maka render ko ug two months notice, then we will know when daw ako last day sa current company...now aside from that, HR from new company tasked me to ask pd daw HR sa current company when daw nila mapa cancel ako current pass kay para new company will apply for new pass for me...karon, wala pa nako na mabuhat iya gpabuhat (though naa na nako ang resignation letter ang paghatag nalay kuwang) kay i think i read sumwer here sa ani nga thread nga pwede ra active pa ang existing pass, then applyan ka ug new pass sa new employer, then once ma approve na ang new pass w/ new employer, then dha na pwede ipa cancel ang current pass & pwede na maka submit resignation letter and render the 2 months notice...nya nitawag ko sa HR sa new company telling her nga it would be unsafe sa akong end if they want me to resign and have my current pass cancelled first and then that's the time they will apply for my new pass(kay aside sa details ako nakuha gkan dire, ako pd amigo nga bag-o ra mihawa kay apply & approve daan ang new pass bag-o resign dire), nya ingon ang HR sa new company said tawag daw siya sa MOM and will call me back for updates after lunch...

sakto ba ako pagsabot mga higala? LAMDAGI ko ninyo...salamat.

current status: wala pa musubmit sa resignation letter. huwat update from MOM via HR from new company.

yes ur new employer can apply for a new pass bisan naa nakay existing pass. ingna imong HR na e apply daan sa imong pass before ka mo resign kay naa man gud tendency na ma reject imong pass unya naka resign naka sa imong current work. diba hadlok na? instead gold na naking bato pa. Ang 2 months notice naka suwat pa sa imong contrata?

Medyo higpit kaayo ang MOM sa permit approval karon. Bisag mopasalig pa na ang HR sa pikas, dili gihapon ta katag-an sa outcome. Better play it save kay langyaw ra baya ra diri.

Nindot kaayo na imo sitwasyon kay gi-hired ka sa new company. Pero ayaw lang jud padala sa imo gibati.

yep 2 months notice ang contrata dire sa ako current company maam, nya kaning new company permanent job, dli contract basis...about sa current company, it should be two months or bayad ka kung less than 2 months ka muresign(like ako migo kay bayad sya at least s$800 sa amu current company kay 1month at most ra man kaya niya mahatag na notice)...

ako bitaw giingnan nga ang HR sa new company about ana, but ingon sya asa daw na nako nakuha na info kay murag dli man daw ingana, but she will call MOM to verify para sure...i hope all will be well...

pwde ni brad. ipa apply sila another application. once approved and nana IPA sa new company then go go go. hatag resignation letter. basta ayaw resign og pa cancel ang pass if ang new pass wala pa approved og wala kpay IPA

btw juleskiboi pls ko b PM asa ka na call center nag work. pwde ka ka referral diha? ky naa koy friends na moabotay this june 30. bacin pwde dha sila mka apply bah. pls ko tabangi nya tawon mga kauban ta na bisdak.

Pwede ra ka ma-apply'an og new pass or pwede ra ka makakupot og additional IPA's. Pero dili ka pwede mokupot og more than usa ka permit. Mura'g up to 3 IPA's ang pwede Bossing. Pero usa ra jud ang pwede ma-release'san og permit.
