Northface bag warranty

I don't know where to post this so I decided to post it in this section instead. Mods feel free to transfer this thread.

I bought a northface bag in SM last 2009. Defects of the said item manifested just this year. Do you guys know the parameters of the lifetime warranty of northface?

as far as I've known basta genuine item naa na siya
tanawa somewhere sa sulod sa bag naa na siya tag with the serial num.

ang kapait lang sa atoa sa cebu daghan kaayo hasol
sa akong experience sa akong targus nga laptop backpack kay naay part sa strap nga ni wear out or na tas2x ang tahi...so I went to an outlet in ayala that also distributes targus
...I inquired about the warranty and they ask for the OS or order slip then they say it will be shipped to Manila where the repairs are gonna be made kay tua didto ang main daw
...the catch is....you're gonna have to cover for the shipping. hahah
Well..I dunno about Northface producs...I'm just hoping my accounts can give u some hint
or better yet tanawa sa ila website or call customer support

thanks for the rep... actually pareha ta ug problem.. na tas2x ang tahi sa usa ka strap.. I went to northface and they had already evaluated the bag.. they said lisod daw ayuhon and they might replace it na lang.. the thing is the person telling me this is not the supervisor. He said paabuton sa daw nila. The supervisor at that time was I believe out of town. I called northface this morning and I was told na ipaau ra daw and they will just give me a discount on my next purchase. I asked what if dili mau. They said na mao ra daw na ila mahatag. The lifetime warranty doesn't apply here in Cebu daw. I am disappointed since I've used the bag for over a year only. I use it everyday since I bring my laptop to work. But with that usage dili pud siguro matas2x dayon in over a year. I believe this a manufacturing defect. And besides dili lang kini ang naa diperensya.. Sa sud sa bag, ang compartment sa laptop naa pud natas2x.

Yup.. Northface bags have warranties..And other brands have it as well..

I don't think they can just say the lifetime warranty doesn't cover the Philippines
unless well stated sa label or tag or any document that goes with the product saying the warranty is only valid in certain regions or countries. otherwise if ni distribute sila anang product w/ that label or tag then you can always make demands in honoring what's stated in the lable.

Nahibong bitaw ko.. I was not told about this when I purchased the bag. They said they always tell customers about this but I was not told during that time. I am also wondering why they will give me a discount on my next purchased.

I guess you should demand to provide what's stated in the tag or any printed article that came with the item
dba naa mura warranty card na? basaha na maayo kay you can use that against them if dili gyud sila mu provide sa service..also imo proof of purchase or reciept

Bisan unsaon pana nila ug sulti verbally, let alone after purchase, nga dili covered ang Phils sa warranty
its not a binding excuse kay ilaha ra na and it's not even a printed notice informing you beforehand.

You have the right to demand...otherwise you can bring that case to DOT
