Mga February naa ni apply as my assistant sa usa namo ka branch.. wala ko mag pa ila nga akong ang admin nag oberve lang ko niya, kauban nako ang manager sa accounting, nalingaw ko niya kay siya syag panghambog nya iyang ma double among internet speed iya dawng e configure ang among modem, balik2x gyud niyang hisgutan ang configure... ug toara.. na guba ang modem.. perteng suko-a nako. wala nako ge dawat ako pa gyung ge pa ilis ug modem.. may gali wala nako pa testingi ang File server ug ang Windows Server.

Bai Gab, unsang klasehas Mail Server duna di ay ka? Updated ba iyang patches? Morag gi-attack og morag dili ang sitwasyon nimo. Probably inyong network ni-kaylap ang kagaw nga Trojan Virus or Malware pero dili ko sure.

Unsa di-ay currently imong setup? I mean like (Router/Firewall > Switch > Server > Workstation)? Ways to protect sa imong mail server kai ibutang nimo sa private network unya kanang sa DMZ butangi lang og Mail Relay server.

Any mails coming from outside anha ra kutob sa DMZ unya ang mail relay server maoy mo contact sa Mail server nimo sa private but you need to protect sad ang server sa DMZ. You need to make firewall rules outbound nga mo block all traffic sa SMTP (Port 25) except sa imong mail server ra.

Kana lang osa akong ikatampo nimo.

what i did is Blocked na jud tanan sa port 25. except sa mail server. nya gibalihin nako alone nalang sya sa DMZ interface lain nga subnet. Nya blocked pud ang access from DMZ to LAN.

Nya nag smtp relay sa pldt nalang kay blocked naman among IP sa google nya listed na sa spamrats sumtig like that tungod sa SPAM. Di na mi ka send email sa google using our IP.

So far karon, wala na jud issues sa mail server. kuyawa jud nako ato panahona

nya i set na as OPT1 interface.

Different subnet na sya.

nya i rename lang nang OPT1 to DMZ hehe! mao ra.

Akong current use kay "logrotate" og "logwatch" para sa logs emailed everyday.
nya "awstats" og "geoip" para sa Apache.


I tried nagios and mysql plugin = 2 weeks na, di gihapon ko kabalo unsaon ni oi. wala jud ko email nadawat.


Need lang nako is "automatic email basta naay error sa mysql"
