Dumaguete, what's there and how to get there?

We'll be in Dumaguete next weekend (for 2 nights only). June 3-4. We're planning to go to Forest Camp on our first day, go to Siliman (I hope okay lng musulod ang dli student dd2) and tour the city. I heard naa dw fried ice cream? Unsa kaha na?? HEhhe

2nd day ad2 mi Sand Bar. Ingon cla sa Manjuyod dw ang mga boats and it's 500 for 4 persons. I hope until now same ra. We're planning to leave at 5am ky mao'y low tide and stay until 10AM ky hightide at 12nn. hakahka. naa kaya na mu largahay ug 5am noh? Heheh

Then drop mi sa Twin lakes.

Naa pa mo ikasuggest? Of course mu tagay gyud mi'g blvd ani. Hehehe! Unsa pa'y nice ad2an na duol na barato? Ky next time na ang dolphin watching cguru if dghan mi. 6 ra mn mi ron.

thanks colby! tried emailing C&L pero di sila nagreply e hehe. pero nun nag text ako, nagreply naman. pa-reserve na lang ako tomorrow o kaya mag walk in na lang hindi naman siguro peak season.

@dSAINT, we'll go to Dumaguete jun2-4 naman. magkakasabay pala tayo. gusto ko din sana mag dolphin watching+manjuyod but it's too pricey for 2pax since boat pa lang e 3k na agad. if ok with you, we can join you. just send me a PM here. planning to go as early as 5am din. how about apo island? hindi kayo pupunta dun?

Yes, okay lang ang outsiders or visitors to tour Siliman, just tell the security guard then they will give a visitor's ID. Usually they ask you to present any ID (any ID will do) sometimes you have to leave the ID sa guard, then after the tour you can get your ID back. Of course, you have to return your visitor's ID.

Fried Ice Cream makita sa Panda Ice Cream, walking distance lang sa Silliman.

Check mga bars sa Dgte near sa Boulevard, also ang new zip line sa Valencia.

Sa food, I like Kiosko, CT Burger's Barbecue Chicken. Sansrival sa pastries and cakes. Then if you want a serene view I really like Bravo Golf Hotel & Resort Spa. It's not very expensive there.

1. how much are the standard fares for the ff?
- airport to seaport (yun sa labas na nang airport since mas mahal daw yun mga nasa loob.)
- C&L bayview to seaport or vice versa (pagkakaalala ko included yun RT transfers pero just in case lang na di namin ma-avail yun)
- C&L bayview / blvd to airport
- C&L bayview to Hayahay - or pwede ba syang lakarin?
- C&L bayview / blvd to Jo's by the sea - via trike din ba papunta dito?

2. 24hrs ba yun jollibee malapit sa hotel nicanor?
3. what time ang office hours ng City Tourism?
4. what time open for visitors ang Silliman Univ?
5. as early as 5am meron na bang mga bus or jeep na masasakyan going to Apo island or Manjuyod?

- C&L bayview / blvd to airport - pakyaw system Php50 up
- C&L bayview to Hayahay - or pwede ba syang lakarin? - trike
- C&L bayview / blvd to Jo's by the sea - via trike din ba papunta dito? - easyride shuttle from the public market.

2. 24hrs ba yun jollibee malapit sa hotel nicanor? - there's a 24/7 Jollibee, Chowking, and Dunkin Donuts a few meters from Nicanor.
3. what time ang office hours ng City Tourism? - normal govt office hours 8am-5pm
4. what time open for visitors ang Silliman Univ? - anytime, as long as you'll tell the guards that you're tourists, they'll just let you in with a gate pass
5. as early as 5am meron na bang mga bus or jeep na masasakyan going to Apo island or Manjuyod? - a bus leaves for the north every hour 24/7

Singgit lang, great view sa Jo's Chicken Sibulan. Maybe you can also visit CT burger, the best ang chicken sauce nila.

dumaguete is a nice place for vacation, just stay healthy, or else if you ever need to get to a hospital, they have only one doctor on duty during the evenings.
