But I have DO another local story. One where I cannot find any explanation for. And I'm a skeptic.

My boyfriend's mother lived in the province-y mountains of Negros. Naay bukid didto nga layo kaayo sa city, and the only way to get there is by a small foot path that's barely big enough to fit a motorcycle. Like most province folks, they usually sleep a few hours after sundown.

It was around 11pm to 12 midnight when the whole family woke up to a sound that seemed to come from right above the house.

Mura kunog "makina nga ga dagan, naa jud sa ibabaw sa balay. Hinay pero duol paminawn. Mga 5 mins. rato dayon nawala ra ug kalit. Wa nami manggawas para mu li-li kay hadlok mi." They next day they asked the neighbors, and all of them heard the same sound. It became the talk of town for some time.

I thought it was a motorcycle. But BF's mama said kaila sad intawn sila unsay sound sa motor kay mao gu'y ginamit sa mga residente didto. I thought helicopter, but helicopters don't just disappear in 5 mins., and they know what a helicopter sounds like too. And it would have to cause some amount of damage on the houses from the pressure of air under it, but it didn't. No one and nothing was missing the next day. :0

Really creepy.

mao ning story sa ako nakit.an na ufo pag niaging may 24 2011 around 8-9pm going home from talisay. location of sighting around bulacao going to basak area at the right side of the jeep i was riding.

gkan ko sa talisay ato padung uli nya sa corner sa ako mata kay murag naay hayag au(bright lights). when turned to see wat it was i noticed na naay tulo ka very bright and unusually yellow stars. i was very astonished because ive never seen them in that area before in all my months of traveling that road going home. but i decided to ignore lang sa. so i urned away and listened to some music on my phone. after about 5 mins i loked again and shock au ko kay pag.tan.aw nku kay ang stars na lagyu pa au pagsugud niform na og triangular pattern.O.o from there wala nku ni turn away. and it gets weirder kay while nagtan.aw ko ang star na farthest away nya niform og tip sa triangle kay nidisapear so there wer two left. one of the two started circling the other star and while it was circling ang star na wala nagmove kay ni keep getting dimmer and dimmer hangtud ni dis.appear na jud. a few seconds after ni disappear cya kay ang last star nawala pd. and yesterday(or around 12 smthing in the midnight today) nakakita ko sa news na saksi na naa pd daw strange lights spotted over capiz. now pag.tan.aw nku kay dli mao ang lights nakita nku. pero this is more alarming people because it means na there is more than just one type of ufo coming to our planet. could this whole 2012 thing actually be an alien invasion? did the mayans really just right down the return date of their supposed gods? who knows? O.o but i swear on my life that tanan ako gsuwat dri tinood. bsag mga tao sa kalsada kita pd ato. wheter you believe me or not is up to you. bsta the truth is ou there. thank you.

These are sky lanterns. Occasionally someone somewhere lights them up. Sorry bro.

But they could easily hide the truth from the public to prevent nationwide panic, if ever legitimate evidences are found. >

Cool kaayo ang aliens/UFO/sightings oi, pero dapat mysterious and unexplainable sad ang evidence nga ipakita. Otherwise, dali ra kaayo i-ingon nga airplane rato, or a new kind of aircraft doing drill exercises (remember Iron Man), muta ra sa camera, or even Photoshopped.

@eapoaxlan- yeah i suppose lanter ra cya if ang lantern ma controll rmn ka na para maka fly cya in a pattern nya hover nya mu fly in a pattern again nya mudisappear pd in a pattern. kng makabuhat ang lanterns ana then yeah, sure, theyre lanterns. btw im chinese and ive seen chinese lanterns.XD

@reikochan- i knw what airplanes are and those wer no airplanes(or lanterns).
