To test? You're no God to test. Man's task is to spread the word, help people understand it, practice it but not to use it to test one's knowledge to it.
I did not deny that its confusing. It is indeed confusing and that's the reason why there are different denominations, different interpretations and beliefs.
What's important about the Bible is its content. So if you can't read it for some valid reason then maybe you can have someone read it for you or someone shares the good news to you. God knows what we are able to do and what we arent able to do, He knows what we are up to, our purposes. The great God put some things into consideration and He makes way for everything to be fair. God is just to everyone. So for those people that are not able to read or did not have the chance to read/heard the good news then God has plan for them.
How can we know about salvation, Jesus, heaven, eternal life, etc. if the Bible does not exist. You cannot receive salvation if you dont even know it. All those information are found in the Bible and it is not enough to just know it but we also need to understand it. So if we can and we are able to do so, why not read it.
