you talked about forgeries in the Bible. You talked about the Old Testament.
Now, what version of the Bible did he found forgeries?
What version of the Bible did you find that people being saved through a covenant?

Im asking this because, sad to say there are modified bibles. I mean there are other translations that is not correct and there are bibles that are edited in such a way that some verses are being taken from the book and some verses were added, etc.

so which one do you think is the only TRUE WORD OF GOD? which version?

Because we are less attentive to Him.
Or..... maybe we should spend more time studying His words.

let me say it again. God could have explain it to us in a simple way but he didn't.

Pleases himself?? ? no, there are three person in the Godhead.

God can make us all like Jesus if He wants to.
He can make us all good people if He wants to.
He can make us all go to heaven someday if He wants to.
He can make us not to commit even a single sin if He wants to.
There's nothing impossible for God. He can do everything.
But God gave us the thing called FREE-WILL. He doesn't want us to be like robots. He wants us to decide for ourselves if we want to be good or we want to be evil and that's to be fair.
And to help us out in our decision of which side is better, He then brought Jesus Christ to earth to be an example of whom we shall follow.

That's the scapegoat. FREE-WILL. And if we won't do his WILL, we will go to hell. Where is FREE-WILL then? Why give us choice? that if we choose that does not pleases him, we will be punished.

So as a christian, is it really a need for you to read the bible? Can a person be saved without reading the bible?

No, its not escape-goat. It is His design. The Maker's design. Actually its just fair. We don't want to be just like robots without heart and mind, cannot think for ourselves. He gave us choice. Yes, He will really punish those who will have the wrong choice. But God did not lack to make ways in order for us to know and realize which choice will save us. The decision should come from ourselves.

If that's the design, then maybe he made a wrong one. How come that the result of his design is disastrous that even his only son must be sacrificed and crucified just to patch the error and that patch was just temporary.

Anyway, the knowledge you can get reading the Bible can be your guide on what to do or shall i say what you have to do in order fulfill the Christian way of living and this words can also be your tool or if necessary, a weapon so that you can go out and share the word of God to others. You know, to make them understand more.
The reason why some people know how to be saved and from whom to receive the salvation is because of the Bible.
