your hardisk could be dying...
post system specs and software/drivers used...
try to set in bios settings if nka IDE or Enchanced mode. change it alternately kung asa nila ang mkalahos.
also if you have usb flash drive or other peripheral nga walay labot ug naka tangag sa luyo palihog ug tangtang.

probably your O.S. is corrupt. try using f8 before mo post ang windows logo. then choose disable automatic restart failure. if mag BSOD e type diri kung unsay mo gawas or if naa kay cam palihog post ug picture dri.
usually e repair ra gyud na ang OS. and always bear this in mind. your last option is to reformat.
also try to listen with the sound of your hard drive if there is something ticking.
Hasta si Werty naka ingon na. TS: post your hardware and OS version, and the last thing that you did with your system. Instead of guessing randoml, and no that's not a cpu overheat, a ticking hdd wont even let you boot going to windows since the readhead isn't working.
basin nagpa increase ra pod ni ug post count si TS. considering its newbie status... hmmmm
