Politicians will not admit it but this bill is an attempt by the state to manage its population... Not through directly limiting the number of children a family can have but rather through education and in doing so does not impinge on our freedoms.
why would politicians will not admit this? why would they misinform people ?

Lagman had been vocal about it and can you see population control indicated in the bill?

and whats stopping people to limit the number of children? in order to control our population we need to target 2.5 children per household.

how about limiting it to married couples like what we are doing ever since.

    2. corruption was expected. the poster didnt just stop sa corruption. Like me i question how can we implement this! there a large amount of investments needed for hospital, clinics, salaries of workers, contraceptives needed, etc to run this bill. take a look at the juvenile justice law did the government implemented it effectively? prisohan for juveniles di gani mabuild.

the question is the implementation.. and corruption is just one of the factors.

    3. lately they made *** ed optional, so you better ask those parents who wants their children to be in a comprehensive *** education class. naa ba gyud considering naa na option ang teens to avail contraceptives for free
i mention comprehensive ha to distinguish it from basic *** ed which had been taught in school since the 1970.

    4. the question is really the implementation to the much poorer areas, in the cities guro no problems but the countryside thats a lot of funding and wages needed to implement this and it said that the same amenities will be applied to every area.

    5. way labot lagi pero ngano maghimo man sila ug balaod giving RH rights to teen when parent moral conviction tell them they shouldn't have PMS. Does it send mix message to teens, that legally they have RH rights ?
From the beginning you didnt like giving away contraceptives to teens; then mo deny ka na dili na makapromote sa PMS to teens and now you are saying dili na lang maki-alam kay gobyerno na ni

    6. daghay na links nahatag dire about contraceptives with abortifacient effect, paki -explain lang gyud ngano di ka kadawat ana with supporting details ha.

Well i read na condom lang daw i distribute kay gi ban na ning mga contraceptives with abortifacient effect.
    1. It not something mutual.

    2. i mentioned corruption just to get the attention of people giving corruption as one reason why they are against it. If ur not one of them then don't bother to react.

    3. so what is the problem with that? teach your kids and its fine. you don't teach you kids, then that is your problem. teaching here means proper behavior towards s*x and not just teaching the act of s*x.

    4. If you look at the situation closer, it's the cities that badly needs this bill. Sa probinsya, dili crowded, daghan panginabuhi basta dili lang mag adik2x. But that will not stop from the implementation to slowly expand to the rural areas. Don't think of this as an instant solution.

    5. Again, teens have access to contraceptives even wala ang RH bill. Gi state lang explicitly sa balaod para walay discrimination mahitabo. If dili gani mu-sunod sa imo ang imong anak, pasabot naay problema sa inyong relationship(parent-child). I did not say i strongly contradict giving contraceptives to teens. What I said was they won't give away contraceptives like freebies for promotions on streets or in school which you were always repeating that they will do such. Not this time around. We don't need that. Contraceptives are still for primarily for married couples' use.

    6. What I was trying to say is that abortion is still illegal even after this bill will be passed. Maybe you want to change the current law on abortion and specify there when to consider pills as abortifacient so that the drug regulatory boards are required by law to ban such pills. Don't blame RH bill for abortifacient drugs. It is handled by another law and already implemented by a gov't body.

    hope things are clearer.

Wala nako gi-usab imo gisulti... nangutana ko nimo kung unsa imo tan-aw sa s*x ed nga magsige ka ingon na maka pa encourage sa studyante to do the act instead of learning from it. Gitubag na ba nimo?

I remember we received free condoms in one event during my high school from Frenzy for their promotions. But we never get excited about having s*x because it was handed out to us. Because we knew better. We were taught topics on s*x ed in school prior to that incident. I don't know where you get your analogy on that "condom possession = getting h*rny".

For abstinence, who will strongly implement that? the gov't? i dont think so...
The church? they should have done that a long time ago even before this bill was drafted.
theres is no law prohibiting minors to engage *** just to satisfy your dumbness, i already said that! It just go against moral authority of the parents when they expect their children to something productive in school and with their lives instead engaging into *** risking pregnancies, STI etc. Even so their sexual realationship ended up in marriage, esp early marriage without planning their family and career. thats a sure road to poverty.

about *** ed , i mention Freud statement that *** ed give sexual liberation; i presented data about teenage pregnancies ( surely there are more PMS before conceiving a child) despite with US *** education; i share an article about *** ed and implying that its not about the lack of information on why teens have *** but rather they have a lot of information and thats why they doing it.

give proof about that Frenzy condom or i didnt happen. And was it this condom company relatively new here are you still in college or few year out of college? Plus that condom company expect teens to use their products, thats why im telling people here why giving away contraceptives doesnt promote ***?

now you telling that teaching abstinence aint working so now we should rather give away contraceptives? is that it?
If the the parents or the Church had failed promoting abstinence. what chance pud the government can promote it ? why give away RH rights to teens pud?

and please tubaga pud akong mga pangutana.

According to him, using condom daw is already a form of abortion.

me and my husband had a discussion about this bill last night. we were trying to weigh things out like what will be the advantages and the disadvantages.

pro rh bill advocates are right about their stand. that this bill is a good start in improving our economics, responsible parenthood and population control. the bill may have not mentioned anything directly regarding population control but we believe that it is implying about the said matter.

what we see as a disadvantage is that this will be another opportunity for corruption not just by national government officials but also by local politicians as well. this time, we have to agree with the anti rh bill advocates about one of their claims that there is no need for this bill since contraceptives are already available in the market (luoy lang nuon ang di kaafford). they require billions as a budget for these to be realized if the bill is passed. but knowing our government, it will never be properly implemented for the reason that no/less than the budget will arrive at health centers because local government officials have already held the money for their own personal gain.

but then again, if this bill will not be passed, surely they will find another way to make our government produce billions for their pockets. (my husband said)
