this is just an additional 12V+ line to power your videocard tru pcie-interface using extra psu-molex

Just one of those novelty items that doesnt really do anything, its supposed to give "better" power to the PCIe lanes.. not that you can increase the 75watt limit.

lahi pud ning EVGA...sa Gigabyte...they are using 2xSATA power connectors on the mobo to provide a more stable power on the PCI-E slots for vcard overclocking & to prevent overcurrent on the 24pin ATX power lines in a 4-way Crossfire setup...

nope. this will not replace the power required for the external 6/8pin molex. only the power tru the pcie-slot so as not to overload your atx connector

why not................................it only carries the 12V path. with some that dont have that 24-pin atx psu, this will lessen the load needed to pass tru that atx connector... but in reality, its useless.. but the concept is there...
