Right at Edgeknife, bitaw take it for fun lang walang personalan but the thing is lain lain man gud sab ang tao so a person can take it differently and will consider it discrimination if a comment or something was made. Mao na its never a good idea to joke on people nga wala ka kaila cause you dont know how they will take it. For some oks ra bale wala for some they'll take it personally.

have a relative who is working there in manila right now. he said to me that these discriminations are really true specially when he is on work already. kinda tagalogs have always fond of visayans specially cebuanos. he always got laughed by his pure tagalog officemates when he talked in tagalog maybe due to accent. all his officemates also look down to him. he noticed that they are very boastful. but the funny part is of all the descrimination he received/experienced when he was new in the work, he didnt mind it at all and just let it pass by, and work in the company very hard, focusing on work always. now that he is a high ranker there and received many awards in the company, all who descriminated him got ashamed already and starting to eat the cookies, hahahahaha! pitty on them. they really dont know what are the capabilities and abilities of visayans. they even dont know how to speak our language but we can speak tagalog as easy as a piece of cake. hmmm, though not all of them, guess i know the reason now why some of them are like that, hahahaha! poor kitties.

Mga peeps, di lang ta palabi sa atong ki-bati. I hope this topic will not be a hate-thread sa mga tagalogs.

Basta, we all know ang discrimintations dili jud na mawala. It is true we've been looked down by the tagalogs but we end up being victorious. At least we have the advantage than the tagalogs.

noh, i didn't know naa pud discrimination against ilonggos. i have a couple of friends from bacolod and iloilo and they are all nice so far. when i went to bacolod last year, i didn't feel any sort of discrimination. the people there are warm and friendly. i remember when i was in a cafe and i asked the sales lady "tag pila ni?" and she didn't understand. so i said sorry and i asked her in tagalog instead. it was a funny experience. we both laughed. she asked me if i was cebuano. i told her i am kagay-anon and she knew that meant i was from cagayan de oro.

it's always nice to talk to someone who knows their geography. =)

i'm a cebuano with a ilocano and tagalog parentage and we speak tagalog at home.with my experience here at work i would rather go with mga bisaya dinhi kay sa mga tagalog.although naay mga tagalog maayo ug batasan and dili mo discriminate majority sa akong mga kauban dinhi na tagalog kay kusog mag hilas hilas.hadlok ma lupigan sa mga bisaya ug mga ilocano kay 3 mi ka major ethnic groups dinhi.

bukid? jungle? nag bahag? hmmm, i wonder why most girls here in our malls can wear confindently very short skirts and shorts while in there are mostly in pants... those ones never been here really in the city. i even heard that cebu city has bigger monthly net income contribution than there. they should know cebu city, and cebuanos first before they shall do such no good deeds.
