3. do not limit yourself asking questions on the internet, go out and shoot as often as you can. If you stop shooting because you are busy, then the more you should shoot. Practice the craft anywhere and everywhere, with this process you will know yourself. Pay attention to credible critics and learn from it. The more you shoot and experiment, the more questions you will ask... as the questions builds up.... then thats the time for you to join a photography workshop for you to quench your thirst for answers.

I would like to add one more thing which I also learned from Recon. Try to print your best photos. Don't just let them end up being posted in blogs, forums and networking sites gathering likes from people who can't even give you a proper and honest feedback (take a look at the people who LIKED your photo and see if pila ana ang maayo nga photographer. Ning like ba ni sila kay nindot gyud ang photo or ning like ni kay kaila mo) Print it large and take a look at it. If bati, keep it as a reminder to yourself that you need to improve. Go back and shoot > process > print and compare. Repeat steps until makuha na nimo. And don't forget to instruct the print guy to print as is, no editing from his end.
