@Sempron Guy, saw some articles re the Lucid technology you mentioned earlier. Am amazed, the motherboard makers have not taken this up. It seems like an elegant solution to the integrated/discrete GPU setups. I can imagine it on desktops to save on energy and on laptops so the battery is prolonged all while providing flexibility for those who like to game from time to time
Murag ako to ni mention bro. The problem with lucid is that they aren't that prevalent yet. They need support from the motherboard makers and the graphics card makers like Nvidia and AMD. They have partnered with Gigabyte tho so hopefully they can make it possible in the near future.
