overhyped video card??
dili man kaau paspas, sa bagay dili pa sad nindot cguro ang driver niya.
dugay pa raba ang release ani, so dili pa gyud mahibal-an kung unsa gyud ka paspas ni sya.

model x1800 for the R520 core 256mb & 512mb internal and external memory
another 3 model will be release too, price is around $520-$600
why ATI opted for 16 pipelines instead of 24??Does ATI pressured to release a less stellar Vid. Card because of the X-Box 360?? ATI claimed that the X-Box 360 has 48 pipelines and a 512 MB of memory. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox360/factsheet.htm
Tsk..Tsk..Tsk..looks like ATI completely put PC Gamers as an after thought.![]()
R520 was rumored to have 32 pipelines..of course it wont match with the 7800GTX if it only have these number of pipelines..nvidia is the practical card to get this days...
I'd go for the cheaper between Nvidia and ATI when ATI realeased its new Line ups.![]()
if g release pa nila ni nga card before 7800, they would have taken the market by storm.
Release date will be 11/05/2005 & I hope ATI will fullfill this promise.Â* The New X1800 XT (R520) hold its candle when it comes to benchmark figures even though its less 8 pipelines compared to Nvidia's 7800 GTX; the X1800 XT also has 2 type of Vid cards - the 256 MB & a 512 MB of memory
visit Tomshardware for the complete info.Â* Â*
i think it doesnt support direct x 10![]()
............benchmark conclusion from tomshardware............wow this card looks promising
From these two synthetic and four "real world" game engines you can see that ATI has taken the 16 pixel shader and 8 vertex shader pipelines from the X850 generation and massively overhauled them into a highly efficient system. In many of the tests at 10x7 and 16x12 resolutions, the 24 and eight pipelines of the NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX could not keep up with the ATI X1800XT.
One of the most drastic leaps was in 3DMark 2005 where the 16x12 4xAA 8xAF score lead the NVIDIA 7800 GTX by over 1,100 marks.
Unreal Tournament is a CPU-limited game that has many games based on its core graphics engine. The 10x7 figures are all limited by the CPU, even an AMD FX-57. However, while running at the 16x12 with high image quality, the X1800XT pulls away from the 7800GTX.
Far Cry gives another picture of the cards. The 7800 GTX does very well at the basic resolutions without high quality filtering and sampling turned on. When image quality is set higher, the X1800XT takes the lead again.
Doom 3 is and has been an NVIDIA game. Again, NVIDIA holds the crown in Doom 3 and it wouldn't be surprising if it holds the crown with Quake 4 when it launches.
Like Doom 3 is the NVIDIA trump card, Half-Life 2 is the ATI trump card. At lower resolutions and no image quality, even the X1300Pro beats the 7800 GTX.With quality turned back on and at higher resolutions the NVIDIA card still lags behind the ATI cards. However, this is what we have come to expect with HL2.
We are impressed with the ATI cards. The new efficiencies should push the graphics market forward by leaps and bounds. The power figures are not too respectful but we are talking about the elite discrete cards for users who only want the fastest thing on the planet. With clock gating, other power saving features, and the 25W maximum TDP (thermal design power), the X1300 cards look like a winner for people who want to be "Vista Ready" or are looking for some gaming performance with all of the video support of AVIVO.![]()
