Default El Cheapo A.V.R.'s [worth it ba?]

As the title suggest's..., is it worth it?

I am talking about these 300php to 500php ranged AVR Circuit for CPU Systems.

I see this as a piece of rectangular junk connected to your Computer system..., making buyers/owners think that their powerline is and will be regulated by this very small stuff.

for myself..., I see it as just a regular power cord wrapped with a 500peso bill ^_^ 0_o

Opinions, suggestions, violent reactions are welcome but it should stay in AVR space ok, we'll not try to jump on surge protectors and/or ups or even servo avr's

    edit:

    ● it seems that the older ones is/was a great product/unit over newer ones

Dili siya worth it if naay worth ang components nga gisupplyan nya =)

Bitaw, depende ra man pud sa situation in your place.Like here sa amo, we have welding, grinding, and other machines outside sa house coz of my father's small business. So, the voltage fluctuation is really big. Naguba na to among motherboard sauna coz of that. Now, I'm using an industry grade AVR. We also use those kinds of AVR para sa hometheater sa sala.

Im using Ideal brand nga avr... Taiwanese ni siya i think then supplied by MDR.. Its been very good for a non servo nga avr.

It has built in power delay and it has saved my appliances when na 440volts akong whole house by mistake. The devices connected to the avr survived... Pero the avr died in the process...

Im also using this brand avr sa akong business with around 70 units running na unya so far, wala pa ko kasuway nga naay naguba sue to regular usage. Almost 5 years na ni sila .. Ok pa till now.

Depende tingali, Nissin ( morag noddles ) ang brand sa akong AVR gamit, 1000Watts servo based. Been using it for quite some time already wala man ko magka issue ani gyud. The only modification I did was to replace the cable ( down to the internals ) with a 3 pin plug para naa koy ground, among mga outlet gipa usab man sad para naai ground nga tarong.
