We're too lucky to have witnessed the transition of the millennium right? But I was just wondering where were you on the first day of the millennium?

I was in the 4th grade. Spending the Christmas vacation with cousins. December 31st 1999, we spent the whole day running in the streets, playing hide and seek, patintero, playing watusi

I was a bit scared because my teacher told me that there is going to be three days of darkness. And then we went to the field to witness the last sunset of the millennium. It was really very unforgettable. And we were lucky the weather's good.

And I recalled everybody was watching the television at 8 pm, watching Ricky Davao and Jackie Lou Blanco host the millennium countdown in the QC Memorial Circle. And then while we wait for the clock to strike 12, me and my cousins went outside the house to make noise. That was 10 pm still and there were already a lot of firecrackers with roaring noise!

I even recalled President Erap made a mistake seconds before the new millennium

I hardly remember...

I was in a relationship with a beautiful girl way back then.. leaving my almost 2 year gf during Christmas of 1999.

My new love (back then) was not rich. Her mother was a labandera and her father was a security guard.. but for a short time I enjoyed her company. But first day of class, I was seduced by my 2 year gf and we were together again.

Due to material things, I left the simple but beautiful girl.

I remembered the y2k scare! That thing doesn't make any sense to me that time coz I still don't have a computer at home. It was just until high school that I learned that the y2k bug can cause massive blackouts and communication failures worldwide.
