How To Format "FREE SPACE" Partition

I have this old IDE HDD plugged in to my laptop which is running Vista.






When I tried to format the free space it will say: "there is not enough space available on the disk to complete this operation"


Is there any way to format this one without using 3rd party software like Partition Magic?

Try daw Extend Volume then Format..

create a new simple volume aron magamit nmo imo free space... im in win7 though... jst right-click that free partition and see options similar to creating a simple volume or create an extended partition then making a logical drive...

try unallocate ang imong 139.04GB para ma usa ang 139.04 ug 9MB nimo.... dili juf na ma format nimo ang 9MB diha...

Tanan unallocated ma merge na siya after nimo e unallocate ang 139.04. once merge na nimo anha naka mag format..

thanks for the replies. it was more on a n00b mistake mao wala na fixed ang issue.

@naborbong you're right bro thanks, I simply delete the "Free Space" partition then na merge n cla sa unallocated space. From then na reformat najud.
