Need help with ITR

Hello!

I would like to ask how to get an INCOME TAX RETURN. My sister went to BIR (Mandaue) to get one and gi yaw-yawan ra bitaw na siya without even giving clear instructions. In the end, my sister walked out and now we still don't have a clue on how to get an ITR.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

what do you mean mokuha siya ug ITR? do you mean mofile? Mobayad? Or W-2?

right!! you cannot get i.t.r. but you must file income tax return. if you are not familiar with that please ask assistance from the officer of the day at b.i.r. pretty sure they will be glad to assist you or not ask any accountant you know.

bitaw...you cannot get itr from the bir..u need to file 3 copies and 1 copy will be yours...

If you are employed and working in one employer only, you are not required to file ITR. You can ask a certificate of compensation withheld (BIR form 2316) from your employer. It's serve the same purpose as income tax return (1701 form).

Actually, I am not familiar with ITR but we need it for visa application. I do not need one since I am unemployed. It just said ITR in the requirements (for those who are working)... so I think she needs to get it from her company.

Yeah.. probably. But it's never an excuse for her bad attitude. She's supposed to be a public servant. She can explain it instead or ask us (if she was confused)... so we won't have to wonder about what we did wrong.

Sorry for causing confusion. I got one too when I resigned a year ago. The company gave it to me but I thought it's a different case with my sister since she's currently working.

ask your sis' hrd kay naa man na silay file copy. Then ask BIR for w-2.
