We are decades behind sa techonology, so it will be decades sad para maka produce tag kahimanan nga maka compete sa uban country.

We have capability to build, however our steel industry are for export, before we say wala tay kwarta ug walay budget or walay will.. tan-awon sad nimo is our terrain suitable for MBT? the answer is NO

Here are the ff reasons -
1) Most of our bridges cant take the weight of a modern basic MBT (see Lanao 2000 Campaign)
2) We are an archipelago, we needed transport and littoral ships
3) Most engagement happen on confined space (a deadly trap for MBT, see US experienced on Iraq and Stan)
4) Tracked vehicle is good for cross country open terrain however its not suitable on rice paddys and swamps
5) MBT requires ground troops for protection
6) No immediate treat that requires MBT, even if china invades us, mag lisud sad sila due to our terrain
7) See #2, what we need is something easily transportable, MBT requires bigger transport...
MBT requires bigger support unit, which afp doesnt have the capability
9) Cost-of-Ownership is quite expensive, buying and maintaining/operating is different...
