Because of tighter competition, someone need to learn how to innovate to stay in the market. A business must offer something that their competitors cant offer.

- a professor way back from college used to tell me...
remember, price is never an advantage! you must always state what makes you different from all the existing!
every time she ask that question, i start to think.
and now, that question is what i always ask myself. and if dili na nako na ma.answer, i start to innovate.

innovation are the strategy of the company to survive really..coz if you dont innovate your product maluma nasad na xa!specially now a days their r many companies that are competing!!!so if you dont have a unique about your product so maluma jud kah!!

@marbien, if your business is just trying to survive, then that's it! it's over!
& i agree that you need to innovate, but innovation is just one thing or an iota of how business really moves..

the best persons to consult are your customers. the end users of your product. you can talk to your customers how and in what manner they would like to be served better. they might give you inputs how to innovate your products or services.
most of the time, businesses succeed because they focus on being able to "serve the needs" of their customers..then profit will follow suit.

one simple way to innovate your business is how to cut your operating expenses. we have a running general merchandising business, then one of our best selling item is the LPG(liquified petroleum gas). With tight competition, we are launching home delivery for free to gain a bigger share of the market!!!.. how? gamit mi ug electric powered motorcycle.. para wala gasto sa gasolina...
