    A.I logic bai, adto ko kuha.. but if your getting those x2 series i suggest you go for opty's which cost less and performs better than those x2. also dual cores. naa man opty's for s939. you can order them @ A.I logic nya pde ra ka order online kung naa ka makitan, you can pay them cash lang then sila na order didto. :mrgreen:

    165 = 2x1.8ghz

    170= 2x2.0ghz = x2-4000 if made, but is faster than the x2-3800 with only half the cache

    175= 2x2.2ghz = x2-4400

    180= 2x2.4ghz = x2-4800

    All Opteron dual-cores 1xx have 2x1meg cache, while x2's have either
    2x512k cache or 2x1meg depending on model.

    X2 is great for gaming desktops,

    Logically mas kusog ang X2 sa Opteron cause its Dual Core.

    Socket 940 for opteron is used for server motherboards.
    Extremely Rare and impractical na ang Opteron w/ socket 939.

    Go for S939 64X2 series.

    The FX-57 is also not advisable its rather expensive.

    bago ra gane ko ga post nga dual core nasad ang opty's. and s939 are not rare. ga opty 180 939 ko. and i also have x2 4000. dual cores are not to be compared to single cores. remember that most software uses only one thread. so it means when running on a dual core system it will only recognise 1 cpu when running an appz/games. maybe in the near future. software developers will make their software multithreaded to allow the full capabilities of dualcore chips. like my dual cores chip. my single core runs slightly better than dual core for gaming.

    @nito: The availability ana maoy problema. So better get an non opteron A64 X2 4400+
    Readily available at Archtech. there's isn't any big difference between the two. when your
    talking about caches Smaller cache CPUs are known to be better Overclockers than
    cpus with bigger caches.

    . like my dual cores chip. my single core runs slightly better than dual core for gaming. smiley
    sure if its the FX-57.

    Opterons and X2s, bla.......bla...... there isn't any difference except for the availability.

    bitaw, i agree with the conclusion about availability and OC.

    @edisonjohn: any dual cores will be good depends on what/where u use them for. if you going for x2 rather get them @ arctech kay naa naman daan. but for opty's you can get them @ A.I ofcourse made to order na cya. im not forcing you to buy on those retailers since i dont work for them. just an advice where to get them at. anyways just surf the net like newegg.com or circuitcity.com, you can get them at a lower price than getting them here.i only know one retailer who handles that kind of order here in cebu. only problem is it takes about 3-12 days before you can get your hands on your toys. but if u ask me? " its worth the wait"

    You can Order at any store PCX, Archtech, Rising Sun.

    I don't work for any of them But I'm an PC enthuiast and the store that is well suited for
    people like me. I think Archtech is quite ok now kay in barato na.

    other stores I don't think will accept the order though.

    @nito1321i: Tag Pila sad ila Opteron 180?
