sony mini dv or verzio hi-def videocam?

good day, pls. help me choose. my father wants to buy the sony mini dv videocam which is on sale for P13,999.99.

but im thinking, diba ang mini dv almost obsolete na? new videocams today are already hardisk, dvd, and hi-def diba? i came across this verzio, a cheap brand, d500 hd. it's got 3inch lcd, sd card slot, no optical zoom, digital zoom 8x, shoots at 1280x720 @ 30fps. i think it's got better specs than the sony mini dv, except for the optical zoom which it doesnt have. pero murag mas convenient ni cya ky dritso man sa sd card ang videos niya unlike sa mini dv which uses the small tapes.


what do you suggest?

sony mini dv P13,999

or verzio d500 hd P11,000.00 + 4g sd card P800.00

never mind. please close. i found another store selling verzio products, and an employee said that they have tested it already and the quality is not good man daw.
