    Default how to adjust carb for optimal idle rpm?


    i just wanted to raise this thread kay i recently had to adjust my carb for idle rpm. mapawng man gud ang makina after a few seconds since starting. ubos ra iyang menor. this started when i brought my MC for periodic tune up. unsaon man gyud pagkahibaw sa saktong rpm on idle sa mga motor? la ko alamag ani kay akong nahibaw.an nga adjustment for idle rpm depends on instrument readings and the optimal rpm is specifically stated on the maintenance manual man gud.

    800 rpm bai kung naa ka aircon mga 1000 rpm minimum. i adjust lang na hantod mo arrive kag 800 then turn-on all of ur accessories like lights and stereo dn apply ug brake. pag munaog ang rpm to 600, adjust nsad pasaka

    do a spark plug reading bro.. adjust your Air/Fuel mixture screw. tanawa imong SP tip kung itom gani kaayo Rich iyang mixture (daghan fuel gamay ra air). if medyo puti sad gani Lean iyang mixture (daghan air gamay ra fuel) mo backfire ni ingani.. so dapat correct jud iyang air/fuel mixture kanag dark brown na ang color sa SP. makuha na nimo sa pag adjust sa a/f screw (kana bitaw naay spring nga screw sa carb) 1/2 or full turn ka counter clockwise more air less fuel, 1/2 or full turn ka clockwise more fuel less air.

    kung imo na tangtangon imong SP karon im sure itom gyud na iyang tip. limpyohi na ug steel brush or liha unya ibalik taud. then 1/2 turn nimo ang a/f screw to counter clock wise (reduce fuel more air). nya padagana kad**** imong motor. human tanwa balik imong SP kung na brownish naba. adjust pod sa idle speed screw kung mo kusog/mohinay iyang minor. kung itom lang gihapon usba ang procedure another 1/2 c.clockwise turn sa A/F mixture, padagan hangtod makuha iyang color sa SP nga brownish na. mo nidot nana ang dagan sa imong motor ug dili na kas sa gas..

    Adjustment should be done when the engine is at operating temperature. For "any" carburetor, ang adjustment sa idle should be "between" padulong mohinay or mamatay ang makina, mao nay optimal nga setting. Simple ra kaayo pero lisod paminawon kung daghang saba sa imong palibot, make sure walay magsamok nimo while you're doing the adjustment aron ma igo dayon nimo.

    mao gyud ni sir. obserbahanan pa kaayo ako motor kay bag.o pa change oil.

    bro necrotic freak, i.unscrew pa jud ang spark plug? or tangtangon ra ang spark plug cap? asa dapit ang tip sa sparkplug na makit nimo ang color? sorry... newbie jud sa motor

    kanang ilawm sa hook bro mao nay tanawa itom ba o brown. kung mu palit kag new spark plug, ang color ana nya is puti. kung gamitun na gani, either mu brown or mu itum na cya.

    sir, kaning counter clockwise and clockwise movement sa mga screws, same concept raba ni sa uban motor i mean kana imu gi ingun nga "1/2 or full turn ka counter clockwise more air less fuel, 1/2 or full turn ka clockwise more fuel less air" applicable or same ra na ang tuyok sa diffrent brands nga motor? mine is yamaha chappy.

    yes unscrew your SP aron makita ang tumoy ana. kanang naay nag L shape.

    same raman principle tanan Carburator sir.. if black (medyo basa) RICH MIXTURE na. kung medyo white LEAN MIXTURE na dapat Brownish ang color for correct mixture of air/fuel..
