    Default Questions on PC Fans

There are a lot of brands and specs of PC Fans and I am scouting for at least 3 120mm fans.... 2 for pulling-out hot air and 1 in-take.....

What of the specs should I take note? Usually RPM ra ako tanawon, kay others are alien to me...

I always think nga mas-taas ug RPM mas maayo, although mas saba, pero saba man sad sa amoa

Scythe Fans- pangitaon kaayo ug pwerte sad ka mahal....

What about Enermax- ok ra ni sila? Daghan ko nakitan sa Octagon, dili sad kaayo mahal...

Daghan sad Thermaltake thunderblade, taas ug RPM- 2,000, dili sad kaayo mahal....

What other brands do you recommend?

What to look for is not the rpm but the static pressure (unit is mmHg) and volume/minute (in cfm)

Sir, can you educate me on that noob here.... sa static pressure the higher the value, the better? also a cfm- also the higher the number the better? salamat daan....

Also note that you are using negative pressure cooling, i.e. more output than intake, masdaghan abog musud through the fans as well as any holes sa imo case.

CFM (cubic feet/minute, uban kay in metric system) is pretty simple. Im sure kasabot ka ana. It usually goes together with static pressure. The higher, the better. Static pressure is ang force sa hangin. Even if naay obstruction or gamay ang outlet/inlet, dili mohinay ang fan nor mogawas sa kilid sa fan blades ang hangin. (sorry kaayo kun dili maayo akong bisaya)

    ani nalang TS o.

    Static pressure:

imagine kuha ug PVC pipe nga 120mm iya diameter.sa usa ka end, butangi og fan (example a 120mm enermax fan). sa pikas tumoy pud, sampungi ang pvc. pa andara ang fan. kanang pressure nga na build up sud sa pvc mao nay static pressure mahatag sa fan at a certain rpm.

    CFM:

now tangala tong sap-ong sa PVC while cge gihapon tuyok ang fan ang hangin na iyang na move is mao na iya volume flow rate sa bisaya unsa ka daghana nga hangin iya ma palihok at a certain rpm.

kung ako pa pilion unsa na fan, ang PC case dili kaayo dako ug space so ari kos large static pressure fans pero if dagko na case like servers adto ko sa higher cfm fans.
