How to install 2 Routers in 1 internet modem.. Please help!

pwede ba maka gamit ug 2 routers in one internet provider? gusto man gud unta nako ipa taas ang coverage sa wifi sa among balay..

by the way, I already have an existing wireless-g nga router and plano nako mag add lang ug baratohon nga router didto sa CD-R KING.

naay nag advice nako nga e upgrade lang daw akong router to wireless-n pero sayangan man gud ko sa akong existing router unya mahal pud kaayo ang wireless-n.

hopefully naay maka advice nako diri..

Bai, murag maglisod ka ana. ani nalang buhata. from modem -> router.. then ang usa ka router na imo paliton.. himoon nalang nimo sya repeater/access point..

1st router - enable dhcp(this will be your base router)
- dapat ang modem connected ani nga router using the internet port
2nd router(we will make this as an access point only) - disable the dhcp and connect the cable from 1st router to any of the 4 ports except to the internet labelled port.

ani na scenario bai.. 2 router in 1 modem. hope it help.

Bro, effective ni na solution. kay imo gipangita ang pagboost raman sa imo wifi dba? mao ni amo set-up sa office. modem -> router -> access point na scenario...

dili man siya complicated pero c router 1 ug dili same ug IP address
example
router 1 LAN IP: 192.168.1.1
router 2 LAN IP: 192.168.2.1

pero kung gusto ka same IP address c router 1 ug 2.. dapat ang isa ka router kai naka off ang DHCP server..

Modem >> (WAN) router1 (LAN IP: 192.168.1.1)
router 1 (LAN) >> (LAN) router 2 (LAN IP: 192.168.1.2)

sa setup nako sa cebu nga gi connect nako ang lan ports sa 2 ka routers.. naka DHCP forward c router 2 (DDWRT ang firmware sa routers nako)
