I want to backup Doom 3, a 3 disc game. Is it possible to convert the 3 CD's into 1 DVD? If so, please tell me how. thanks!

nero image burner. burn it using nero.dvd data

use nero image to load the image file ( .nrg )

or gamedrive/virtualdrive

Upload your Doom.msi file to www.esnips.com and make a link here. I will fix it for you to be conveniently convert your cd to dvd disc without hussles and no image is necessary. This will autorun when installing, no asking for disc 2 and 3. 1000000000% work, just upload and i will make instructions how to convert it. You only have to burn it to your dvd disc after following my instructions that I will post.

I need only the Doom.msi file.

Here is how you convert it to DVD:

1. Make a temporary folder named Doom3_temp
2. Copy all contents of all the disc starting from disc 3 to Disc 1 (overwrite all if prompted) to Doom3_temp directory.
3. Replace the Doom3.msi (extract first the file with winrar coz its compressed) file with the fixed Doom3.msi
4. Burn the contents of Doom3_temp directory to DVD disc.
5. Enjoy the game

I only do this for fun. I can convert any games that has to be fixed. e.g. Quake, Farcry, etc...
But sometimes I got lazy, you could do it if you really want to, even making your own crack... LOL. But crack is forbidden and not even has to disscuss here. Just study, try hard to search how to make it. Its cool to make your own...
