Mga experts, naa lang ko pangotana sa inyo bahin aning 8pin power connector. ang akoang mobo ky asus p7h55m. naay cyay, 8pin atx connector pero ang 4pin naay removable plastic cap and 4pin lng ang open. pangotana nako, pwede ba tangtangon nako ang plastic cap and gamiton ang remaining 4pin na nka cap? ngano man naka plastic cap ang 4pin? unsa purpose og kalahian sa 4 og 8pin? psu nako ky hec cougar cm700Watts and naa cya 8pin connector..

Its capped in plastic to prevent the end user from forcing the incorrect cable ( and orientation ) if you only have a 4pin connector, 8pin allows more current to go through w/o putting too much stress or heat on the cable, its more of a safety precation and it also allows more power to be provided to the processor when needed during overclocking.

If your PSU has 8pin EPS its better to use it but not required.

pwede ra 4pin gamiton bro... pero for a fully configured system, dapat 8pin jud...

kinahanglan ra nang 8-pin cnfiguration kung high-end na kaayo imong processor like Intel Xeon...other than that,you just might not need it.

if u have the necessary connection from your PSU then use it.. if not just leave it covered. with or without it doesnt matter...

if your psu has no 8pin connector you can still the 4pin conn..

mga bossing.. naa 8pin akoang psu (hec cougar 700W), bale 4pin ra naka plug ang usa nagbitay ra. processor diay nako kay quadcore i5-760. ok ako nalang e plug tanan connector. kay naa pud ko plan mg OC'.. salamat

pwd gihapon na.. aku gani i5 2500 pero 4 pin ra aku giconnect sa mobo.
