    Default Offloading of Tourist Passengers

My GF who wanted to tour to Thailand was offloaded by the Immigration together with several tourist passengers of Cebu Pacific last Sunday. The BI personnel asked for documents which were normally required when you apply for a visa such as proof of income (ITR) and Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC). It's a pity and those arrogant BI personnel does not even care that you won't have a fare refund by the airline or be allowed to rebook.

    Anybody here experience the same?

    Rick,

Actually, taod-taod na nga rigid ang paggawas sa ato nasod.
Gihigpitan na nila og maayo due to rampat "human trafficking".
In short, katong mga legit jud nga mag-tour, na-among tawn!

Next time nga mogawas mo, andam-andama lang jud tanang document nga inyo mapakita sa Immigration Officers (IO).
    - current certificate of employment (if working)
    - approved leave form
    - tour package ticket/invoice
    - resibo sa imong hotel accommodation
    - round-trip ticket nga dili molapas 14 days. The shorter, the better.
    - invitation letter, if applicable
    - ITR ( ? ) karon pa ko ani. Pero i-apil nalang sa lista. Paniguro bah.
    - OEC >> this is for registered OFW's only.

Nya kung sukit-sukiton mo sa IO, ayaw jud usab-usaba inyo tubag. Stand firm jud.
    Pagbinagsik.... but be polite.

    Good luck!
