mao lagi. ky ako gi try mo ungot jud. kadto pa gani 720p lang ako gi try. samot na kadto 1080p ky garbled na jud kaayo ang movie.. by the way im playing it on a 22" LCD monitor

i don't know bai pero murag mo depende pud guro sa player..unsa imo gamit na player sa HD movies?

i cant guarantee nga mkaplay cya ug hd movies sir.. as ive mention earlier sa lain nga threads.. based on my experience on atom 330 (2cores 4 threads)+ 2gb ddr2 667 ram on a 22" lcd, di mn makaplay ug mkv's flawlessly. ambot lng kaha sa mga ION integrated mobo.

@usrolla i think dili kaya sa atom ang pag play lang sa HD, usa sa factor mo affect ana is ang iyang Chipset

if atom niya pares niya is kato ion sa nvidia ok na au pang hd

try og play HD tapos tan awa ang CPU utilization sa task manager nimo diba pirting dakoa
adding memory will not help

nag test na me ani, pero dili atom na board

amoa gi compare ang usual cheapest ma set up na pc amd x2 240 paired with nvidia 6100 based motherboard, og intel PDC E5400 paired with intel g31 based motherboard mo kanga gyud sa 1080p ok ok ra if 720p lang, but dili naka pwede maka pa run og other application, gi try namo mag play HD 720p then copying og lain file, even kana ka simple lang nga task mo kanga na ang playing sa HD
especially if kana grabeh nga effects, adding a videocard and increasing memory did not help either (note: videocard card used is the usual ginapalit sa mga taw around 2k to 3k something na price range) if kato above 4k price budget na videocard maka improve siya)

but kato gi test ang E5400 paired with intel g41 based motherboard dako og improvement maka kaya nag play 1080p but taas lang og cpu utilization

sempron 140 + 780g base motherboard pirti nindot nag playing sa 1080p although murag looy lang ang sempy kay taas kaayo cpu utilization

overall if htpc set up ka ang whole platform imo e consider specifically what chipset + processor gamiton

pwede ra man 3k price range na processor but ang imo motherboard gamiton is either 780g base, 785, 790, and upcoming 8xx series sa amd, if intel sad much better if ari ka sa g41 up na mga chipset

ang intel core i7 set up is overkill na para ani hehehe nga task, but pwede siya makahimo og more task but if playing HD lang di ka maka kita kaayo og difference, and PRICE lang gyud and less stressed imong hardware if i7 hehehehe

ungot sia choi usahay, mas arang2x i play nko wndows media player, pero pait kaau kn mu forward ka or laktud, hinay dyud, atom n330 intel mobo, 2 gb.

unsa diay chipset ani? if intel, kadto 945 man siguro, mura dili. My atom 330 + ion kay moplay man 1080p though my 32" lcd tv with no hiccups.

di ba naa man bag-o nga nm10 man siguro na?

HD videos rely a lot on CPU and a little of GPU. Considering that most atoms do not go above 2.0ghz, you already have your answer why HD playback isn't really good at all.
